Does anyone know if these contain molasses? I buy them by the pound, so there's no ingredients label on the packet and a search on the internet didn't bring anything up. Are guinea pig pellets better for degus in any event? |

Most chinchilla pellets do contain mollasses, i know pets at home ones don't for sure and there are one or two others that i have heard don't but a lot don't list whether they do or do not on the label. I prefer to feed guinea pig pellets such as super guinea excel as it has added vitamin c which is good for degus and has all the vitamins and minerals they need compared to chinchilla pellets. A few chinchilla pellets don't hurt occasionally though as a treat _________________
