just kidding!!! Seriously though they are driving me potty today I don't know whats gotten into them - they have fought ALL day - lots of boxing (they dont do a lot of this usually) lots of attempted humping (they do this all the time so nothing different) but it did started getting quite nasty at one point for quite some time with them starting to squeak at each other, teeth grind and shove each other around - it went on for ages to the point where I separated them at one point (no biting/scratches or blood evident) but when I put them back together they started at the same point all over again - I tried distracting them to no avail but now they have calmed down by themselves and are currently sleeping on top of one another - I have never seen them that bad towards each other, nothings changed in their environment and hope its not a sign of things to come!!! (btw they are 10 months old, both males)
My males do that and like yours they sort it out amongst themselves and are usually fine after that although usually with my boys its over within 30 minutes or so.
Its a territorial behaviour plus at 10 months your boys are finding their feet as they are maturing. If i remember correctly when my foursome hit the year mark they had a massive kafuffle which lasted a couple of days although no biting or damage was being done i really thought i was going to have to seperate them as the squabbling was constant with the odd break for naps together on the hammock I was tearing my hair out as didn't sleep for two nights then as quickly as it started it stopped and i've not had a problem since. Theres the daily sniping at one another of course as someones got something the other wants but nothing as bad as that ever _________________
