Hi all. A girl asked me for some answers about her problem. She had a pregnant female which soon gave birth to 3 dead babies and one more dead the next day. I asked her if she had handled the degu during her pregnancy and she said she did not. The thing she mentioned was that they had some repairs going on at home during pregnancy, and I wonder that it could be because of stress. Could it be? What do u think?
Stress could have caused it through fear etc.... something i wouldn't rule out 100% It could also be the age of the degu if she was too young or too old to carry the babies or poor genetics, its probably best not to breed from this degu in the future _________________
