Hiya

Just been looking n the pets at home website, as we are getting the degus frm there so would make sense to get food, bedding and treats from there.

I have found something called, naturals, and just wondering if these were ok to give to the degus?

The 1st two are defiantely fine - my guys loved them.  Duno about the mushroom in the last one - id assume it was ok.  The main things u should be looking out for in treats that degus shouldnt have are sugars (molasses are a def no no), fats and lots of oils.

Is it me or does the 2nd link say 'and lots of other goodies' ?  If so how can we be sure what is in there?

I use Zooplus as I became paranoid after buying my Degus and finding out (thank you all xx) from here that the food PAH recommended I feed them (the food they had been feeding them) was actually bad for them Shock  They do a fab food and also a nice bag of treats especially designed for Degus.  I also bought a packet of Xtra Vital Degus food (from elsewhere)  and use that now and again as a treat.
