I found this on another forum and have asked and recived permission from the board owner to repost part of this information for you all here.
At the end of the post  here there is a link back to the page it was posted on on their forum. I don't know for sure but you may have to register to access the thread on their site. I thought this would be some good information for Any Vietnam Vets among us that could use this information.
Even if you just know a vet that could use this information I think it's purpose has been served if you help get the word out.

If you are a VN vet and have any form of diabetes you have compensation coming to you......

Effects from agent orange have been connected to diabetes and all you have to do is get a note from your doctor stating what form you have and if you have any side effects, and the date when you first were treated for the diabetes, and your DD214 ( discharge papers), and go visit your local VA representative...if you have side effects you will receive more compensation..

* NOTE*  This post is a repost from OW~CommandPost™.
I thought it would be appropriate to share it here also.
Please don't mistake the provided link as OW, That forum is seperate from OW but I belive the info is good info and should be spread to as many sources as is possible.
