Hi all,

From what I have seen of the quality of work and appearance for a forum such as this; I highly recommend "WEB HOSTING SERVICES BY TOPGUNMIKE.COM".  His work in helping moving "OW~CommandPost" to its new site. It is quality work and if you have aspirations of starting your own web site/forum site; then TopGunMike is your man. This is the URL to his web services site: http://www.topgunmike.com/index.html  .  Try it.  You just might like what you see and can get done.   Wink

Doc,
Are you going with tgm's service
Have you been in touch with him and come to any conclusions?
I'm still actively researching other free hosting services but have found nothing solid yet.
tgm is dang good at what he does.
If you do work out something with him then that is all the better Wink

Hi Jimmy,

I have indeed been in contact with TGM and already he  has  established a new forum site for me.  I hope you don't mind; but I have asked him to get in contact with you in order to work out the logistics of the move; as you two have far more experience at this than  I do.  He had a couple of good suggestions on how to go about completing the move.  If he has contacted you s yet; could you please contact him and then get back me with what you both agree is the best way to go?

Talk with again ASAP.  Meanwhile, as always, al my best to you and yours.

Sincerely,

Doc

Very Happy

I've not heard from him just yet but I'm thinking about having him set it up with all the same features we have on owcp that way there will be less programing envolved.
Can be like the S/O and M/C forums were when they had 2 forums on-line. Wink

Sounds great Jimmy and is line with my thinking that you two would jointly come up with a solution that will benefit  all those who choose to involve or re-involve themselves with this site.  Streamlining the process also means the site get back into action much more quickly.  So, thanks for proving my instincts to be correct.

Take care and all my best to you and yours.

Sincerely,

Doc

Doc,
you and I have pretty much always been on the same page.
owcp is meant to be lighthearted but with a clear cut mission where the topics here tend to be more to the point and serious in nature.
I see NO reason why this can't continue to be a "sister site" and extension of  owcp Wink

Thanks Jimmy.  I knew you'd understand and agree with how things should continue  on this site and progress into the future.  That's why we make a good team and good friends.  We support and compliment each other in our efforts to serve those who served us so well both in the US and UK.

Take care my friend and say "HI !!!!!!!!" to Bridget, Patches, et al.

Sincerely,

Doc

Anything and everything you & TGM can advise me on will be appreciated.   Laughing   I will listen to whatever sounds reasonable and doable.  I'll will carry my weight as much as possible and both of your sites will get special mention in my "Joint Ops" forum string,   Wink

Take care and talk to you again ASAP.  BTW, will try to post something in the Naval History and Traditions forum on your site by this weekend; also will attempt to do same for Medal of Honor string.

Sincerely,

Doc
