Feel free to respond  Laughing

1. Completed Col flagging and collected some items sickle, some board with nails and the fist of stone gaunts from the mini bosses. What do I do with those exactly? Can I turn in for XP? I looked on different sites but they did not really say exactly what to do or where to go..  (kind of limited at work on web surfing our board is not blocked)

2. I am sitting with 16 skill credits and 16 mil in XP. I have sword, staff and melee spec’d. I have not trained any magics. I know I need Item for travel and to bane etc… My question is should I train and then spec Item, so I can more quickly cast 7’s? I have purposefully not trained anything so I could concentrate on my base skills and buff bots almost eliminate the need for Creature and Life (for a melee) but I can eventually train those and un-spec item if needed later.

Starting:
100 Strength
100 Coord
70 Quickness
40 Focus

Current Trained base (unbuffed):
Sword = 314
Staff = 180 (Roughly I have put all my points into End/Health/Stam/Str/Coor/Quickness/Sword and Melee)
Melee = 290 or so...

Your thoughts are appreciated....

Well thought I would answer my own question just in case anybody else was not sure what to do with the rewards given for killing the Mini Bosses... The answer was pretty obvious... You give the Arbitrator the Mini Boss token... He gives a title and a reward item...to get the XP reward you...give the reward (Fist of stone, sickle, sword or board with nails…I know these all have names but I do not have them handy...you get the idea though) back to him...this follows the same model in other XP quests... (Ok, lesson learned)

Question #2, If anyone is curious...I did train and spec Item Magic. I can now cast 7's and take advantage of  recall, summons and ties... I figure I can always unspec Item once my character is a sufficient level to compensate with massive XP.

I also made level 56 last night...I am hoping to make 60 this weekend but... that might be optimistic...

:(

Sorry have not been here for a wile

But to answear less than LVL 140 I would maninly worry about Melee/Sword

Coord/quick/Strenght (put coord first since it goes both way toward melee and Sword

Magic is really not that Important Except for Item, I would at least get it to the point where you can recall and summon portals with no problem

After getting 400 Base sword I would spend a Credits on getting Creature/Life mana C but it wont be that important till LVL 160 where Y'll have enough xp to pump magic to LVL 7 casting

thats just me I spent credits on my magics not untill lvl 150 (THANKS SESA FOR ALL THOSE BUFF and GRAMPS) now lvl 170 and it's pretty Lame to buff 10/10 self/focus does not help that cause

Right now I have Spec
Ua
Melee

Trained
Alchemy
Item
Creature
Spear (droping one of this days)
Fletching (was bow before lvl 80)
Healing

with the 12 credits I get from Spear and Fletching thinking of spec healing and maybe Alchemy that way I will not need to put that much xp into it (mainly used for Bombs) Idealy I would like to aug Focus 10 times that would make it 60 Innate with spec Life but IDK if that will help Imp/Vuln mobs so might just stick it out with bombs, Another option is to augment End 10 times which will give +25 Health not Including the gem that adds certain % of health

Melees are good chars specially since having a shield gives an awesome advantage but at the same time its limited on magic Abilites Even with Spec life it would be hard to Imp/Vuln high level mobs. Reason I prefer Missile toons since Staring with 100 coord/quick gives for max melee/bow and 100 Focus helps a ton with Magics +Healing + with Self Aug you can be at at around same skill lvl  with mages having it spec

Thanks for your input and thoughts. I agree with what you are saying and it confirms pretty much what I have been doing dumping points into Sword and Melee… My sword is sitting at 391 I hope to be at 400 early next week. I have already been purchasing a few swords at MP. I am not exactly sure were my Melee is…it is lagging my sword but is pretty high 350 base’ish maybe a little higher…

The reason I spec’d Item was just as a shortcut to get to 7’s in item quickly with minimal expense. However I agree I have put very few points if any in Item since the initial dump, which was really not that many points relative to the xp I am currently earning…I have put a few points in Magic D and the base Focus/Self just to get some resistance… I do plan to Spec Magic D at level 110. I did start my Focus at around 40 or 50 if I recall I sacrificed on quickness.. I figured that would help a little on the arcane, healing and magics down the road…and would not impact my damage modifiers (Strength and Coord) and I would still be able to get my Melee where I need it. I will eventually be a 3 school but will still rely on bots…even after that… I like the thought of being independent if needed…

I will unspec Item at some point to get the 8 points back…I think my character is a little unique in that he will be a combat skills JOAT (Jack of all trades) in that I have Staff spec’d as well…I have put no points in there but will dump quite a few to get to 400 staff eventually. The reason is simple…to fill the bludgeon hole in sword… (I already bought a 400 bludgeon rended staff for this purpose…) So after 400 sword and Melee and Magic D are where I want them I will start putting points in staff… I have not tried this template before but I think it will work well in certain situations…

I will rely on my other toons for other skills… I have a Spec’d UA/Archer not using bow at all right now UA exclusive but could see him picking up alchemy but I did start him on an extreme template 100 str 100 coord 100 quickness….so he may not be a good candidate for that…I also have a mage but have not been playing him much…

As always additional input or thoughts are always welcome….
