I mentioned in my S n S update that I would try and post some information on how to use bots in the Marketplace. For the purpose of covering all the bases, you get to the Marketplace by typing /marketplace this will port you there. The Marketplace is a player area of vendor bots with goods and services you can purchase.
I am one of those oldbies (returning players), so I really did not know how to buy some of the cool stuff that I saw on vendor bots at the Marketplace. Vendors have different point systems, which is basically the currency used. You can check how much something is and then complete the transaction. Here are the basic steps to complete a purchase transaction in the Marketplace. If I left something out or there is better information please feel free to add your information in a reply.
1. Double-click the vendor bot. A trade window opens. You can review their merchandise by examining it. (Be careful to examine all requirements to ensure that it is useable for your character)
2. /tell <Vendor Name>, Point or Points (This shows you the vendors currency; MMD’s are most common but some bots require trophies or rares to make purchases.)
3. /tell <Vendor Name>, Check <name of the item> example: Silver Cestus. If there is more than one you can enter the value. Most bots I used have changed the format for doing that. An example with value: Silver Cestus: 5480 (not sure if there is a space or not after the name.)
4. Once you find something you want click clear (not close) on the trade window. This clears all the merchandise out.
5. /tell <Vendor Name>, add Silver Cestus: 5480 (This adds the item back into the trade window.)
6. Add the required payment, example: 5 MMD’s into the trade window and click “Trade”
7. /tell <Vendor Name>, buy to complete the transaction

General Command information:
Show -This will show you the vendor's inventory.
Check - [item name] [,Value] This will tell you the price of the item. (I saw some bots that indicate that a “:” then price)
Add - {Amount,} [item name] [,Value] This will add the item to the trade window; no Brackets. {amount optional} (I saw some bots that indicate that a “:” then price)
Total This will tell you the total cost of the items you have added.
Point or Points - This will tell you the vendor's point system.
Message - This will allow you to leave a message with the vendor.
Info - This will give you general info on AC Trade.
Buy - This will purchase the item.

/tell [Vendor Name], check gold amuli coat, 5340 (I saw some bots that indicate that a “:” then price)
/tell [Vendor Name], check singularity key
/tell [Vendor Name], point
clear (not a command, hit the clear window button)
