With a lot of computers coming out with windows vista, there have been some challenges to getting Asheron's Call to run smoothly.
I have gathered some info that will help if you have to get a computer with windows vista versus windows xp.
Program Files folder on windows vista is very limited on what it allows programs to change even within their own folder. Kinda funny when an operating system is supposed to be superior, it reminds me of having more characteristics of a server.
Windows vista is easy to navigate and does have some plusses to it, as long as you have the 2 gigs of ram that you need to make it stable. If you plan to dual log, than I recommend 4 gigs of ram.
