Agvnige had been asked by her dear cousin and Lady to do some scouting up in the near by ranges due to the reports of bandit activity on the rise. She had left a season ago and just now returned. After freeing Silver Wing of the packs that held supplies from the near by farmers and villages, Agvnige turned the food and supplies itno those that knew what to do with the items. Heading up to her office she dropped the reports on the desk and then looked around for the change of clothing she kept in the wardrobe.
Changing into a pair of tight leggings and a tunic that left little the the imagination of the males that haunted the Warren’s grounds, she then fastened her sword’s belt and guard around her waist and then slippe don her dark green leather boots. Grabbing her reports she headed off to her cousin’s office to report what she ahd heard and seen. It was not good.
Arriving at Tarika’s office, Aggie didn’t wait she just pushed the door open hoping ot not interrupt the older woman during some intiment moment with M’ren. Aggie smirked at that thought and then called out to Tarika. “Tari, I’m home! I have the reports and you’re not going to like them”

Tarika had been in her apartment, retrieving something from there. She had left the door to her office open when she had gone into her apartment. She had always liked the fact that the office was adjoining to her apartments...she didn't have to trek all the way across the Green on late nights she was busy in her office.
Just as she started heading back toward the office door, she heard a familiar voice and smiled. Quickening her steps, she entered the office to find her cousin there with the reports she had asked for.
Quickly coming around the desk, she embraced her cousin. "Agzy! Glad to see you've made it back home safely!" she said as she then.
As she released her cousin, she took the reports from her. "Tell me what you seen Agzy!" she said as she scanned over the reports.

Agvnige groaned at the nickname her cousin had given her. It made her sound like some bug or something, and she did not like being thought of as a bug. “What you thought I’d let a bunch of bandits get the better of me? You know if I let a man get that close he’d either never remember the next day or be dead afterwards.”
Walking over to stand in front of Tarika’s desk, Agvnige sighed heavily. “It’s not good Cousin, something or someone has hired the bandits out for scouting the local farm lands and some are getting dangerously close to the Warren and these lands we call home. I was hoping to get M’ren to gather together a small party to not only talk to the farmers some more but to also maybe capture one of the bandits to interragate. And you know how much I love making people talk.”
She then took a map out of her pocket and unfolded it. Removing her dagger from her leg holster, that was usually hidden by her boots, she then used its tip to point out the camps she had already marked out on the map.
“Here are the small camps that have about three to four men stationed there. But the bigger camps are more toward the mountains past the farmlands. There are about four large camps but out of the four the main camp is here at the old windmill. I counted at least six men standing guard during the day and eight at night. I’m willing to bet my life their leader is there, that’s why they guard it so highly at night.”
She left the dagger pointing down into the main camp as she sat down in a chair and looked at her Cousin with a seriousness that even death would fear. “I don’t know what’s up Tarika, but I don’t like it. All this is close too close to the possible hatching of the eggs.”

Tarika gave a laugh at her cousin's first words. "It's good to have you back!" she said as she then turned serious as she listened to her cousin's reports.
Tarika's expression turned to worry as she listened intently to her every word. Looking down at the map that Aggie had produced, shaking her head slightly as she pointed to each camp.
Tarika then began to start pacing, much like M'ren usually did when he had something on his mind. "No, it's not good...nor do i like it either! You may be right...something may be up...I suggest keeping the Warren on alert...and yes M'ren can talk to those farmers. And also if you can capture one of those bandits to question them...that may be useful...but then it may cause them to act quicker on whatever they are planning...they may lash out for having one of their own captured by a rider...or even come up missing." she said as she continued to pace, losing herself in thought.
She then stopped, looking at her cousin, "Yes, I think having the Warren on alert might be a good idea. I'll have Jalaran inform Scar to inform him to report my my office now, as he should hear this report too!" she said as she turned her thoughts to Jalaran.
'Jalaran...I need you to bespeak to Scar...have his rider, M'ren come to my office right away...' she told her. {Is something wrong T'ka?} Jalaran asked, as she then quickly passed the summons on to Scar.
'There may be dear...but don't worry!' she replied as she went over to the tea pot, and poured a cup of warm tea. "Would you like some tea Agzy?" she as she turned to look back at her, while they waited for M'ren.

With three sharp knocks on the door M'ren entered. Tarika's office. His icy blue eyes took in his surrondings and he filed the information into that calculated head of his. "Scar said you needed to see me." he said to Tarika. "Hello trouble," he grined slightly creaking that hard stone face at the Beta wingleader.
M'ren figured she must be back with the report she was working up. Something about that must not be good or he would not have been summoned. Never the less he was there and soon he would be filled in. |

It didn't take long for M'ren to make it to her office since she had asked Jalaran to bespeak Scar and have him summoned. He must have been close by for him to have made it there that quickly.
Tarika took a sip of the warm tea she had in her hand, then set the cup down, and poured two more cups, handing one to M'ren and then the other she set in front of her cousin just in case she decided she wanted it.
"Yes...M'ren...I need you to be sure the Warren is put on alert, but I don't want them to be alarmed, especially the non-riders, so maybe just your wing, as well as your wing Aggie...as well as taking a small party out to the outlying farms and inform them of the Bandits activities." she said as she turned to Aggie for a moment before looking back at M'ren. "Aggie can fill you in...she has a map there on the desk of where each bandit camps are located, as well as their main camp." she said as she took up her cup of warm tea again, and sipped at it.

Agvnige was about to tell her cousin that she normally didn’t like tea but she was rather thirsty, but before she could M’ren appeared. Aggie rose a questioning eyebrow at Tarika. The man had been close and that made Aggie’s lips slowly spread into a mischievous accusing grin. She sat back as Tarika spoke to the Alpha Leader and then when it was her time to speak she stood so she could be near the map and not have to get up during her words.
“Something or someone has hired the bandits out for scouting the local farm lands and some are getting dangerously close to the Warren and these lands we call home. We need more information before it’s to late M’ren.”
Pointing to the small little triangle desgns that had either three to four circles standing near by she explained. As she talked on her finger moved fromt eh smaller camps to the four larger ones with similar design but only had more circles especially the one she was sure held the leader and his main or high ranking bandits.

I’m going to be putting my squad on guard duty not only on the ground but also in the air. I’ll not let those bandits and their employer think we are easy targets.”

Leaning over and studding the maps, he had to focus a moment as being near the two women was very apparent.
"Have you spoken to the Landbound yet?" They aren't generally keen on us taking on bandits unless it is beyound there control." Then pointing at that map. "However this group seems to have actually stepped into Ismene terriotory." |

Aggie nodded. “Yes I’ve spoken with a few and they are keeping an eye on those that are in their area but I have also been informed that they will keep us informed if they need help and I asked that I send a few of my men with theirs to keep an eye on the main camp. As for the one in our area I will be keeping an eye on them Silver has already talking with my Betas’ dragons about doing fly bys at night and relaying the information to us so we can keep up to date records on the bandits movements.”
She then looked to both of the people that were higher up then her self. “I feel that we should double the watch on the area especially on the Millers since their lads that normally protect their farm are sick I’ve been seeing them during my time away and promised to bring them medicine since their father doesn’t want to leave his farm behidn to bring the boys to the Warren.”

M'ren studdied the maps closer, it was odd they were out of there normal areas as though... Suddenly he realized something. "Look at this," he drew a line then another like a funnel. "Something is pushing them toward us. Something that scares them more then we do."
He looked over the maps with amazement grabbed another sheet of parchment making some notes with a quill. "Yes I believe if my calculations are right they will soon be far closer to our lanes then ever before. I agree we should double the guards where needed but I would like beta squad to work on capturing at least one of them to find out what is going on." |

T'ka sat listening to the two, finding herself actually staring at M'ren without realizing it. When the man told them to look at something...she snapped out of her small daze...hoping that neither had noticed.
She turned and went back over to peer over M'ren's shoulder, down at the map where he had just drawn a line...then another like a funnel. Listening to his words, she gave a small nod.
"Which has me now wondering...what is would be so frightening, that would cause even the bandits to flee...coming into territory that they would not normally go into?" she said to them.
"Agz...any idea...I mean did you happen to see 'anything' out of the ordinary...other than the bandits being on the move...when you were out there?" she asked her cousin.

Agvnige cursed and then apologized as she received looked of shock from her cousin and M’ren. She couldn’t believe she had missed it, but she had been so wrapped in the bandits and tired that she had mistaken Silver’s uneasiness and then her wanting to return home which was very unlike the dragon.
“Well there was something but I ignored it at first. For one Silver wanted to come home and she never acts like that during a mission or when she’s on duty. Then there was the odd feeling I was being watched at night when we camped and the eerie silence of the forest. Like the night and day creatures were afraid to speak out. I’ve never seen signs like this and I’m sorry I didn’t recognize it sooner.”
She sighed as she sat down, she was tired and it had been a long day she was growing tired and she felt so sore. She lowered her head and started to drift off and normally she would stay awake but she had been up all night scouting and then not stopping to rest as she was ready to come home herself.

((Ok...I think we should assume that N'rwe...during this topic...I am going to post that she sends word ahead through her dragon about the strange tracks she found up that way, just outside the forest....since she had mentioned that at the festival...but no one paid her no mind! So during this topic...though N'rwe's not actually in the Warren...T'ka will get word from her dragon...while N'rwe and Keiran are still on their way.))
Listening as her cousin suddenly remembered something that she had paid no mind to at the time. T'ka gave her a slightly worried look.
Just then her eyes looked a bit out of focus, staring off passed her cousin and M'ren, as she heard Keiran's mental voice.
{N'rwe says to tell you we are on our way...but...there's something strange...up at South Swynwood Forest...just outside the forest near the mountains. As we camped there last night...she and I had the feeling of being 'watched'...and then...well just felt a bit uncomfortable being there and I wanted to leave right away...but my rider was too tired to go on. So I had to stay!} Keiran said, pausing before going on...as if she were speaking to her rider.
{N'rwe also says that this morning there had be these very strange tracks...tracks that were not human...none that she nor I have ever seen before! They were around the perimeter of our camp.} she said...then the pause came again.
Keiran spoke again, {N'rwe says will will be in Silverhurst for a few days before coming to the warren!} she added, then all was silent once more...and T'ka turned a worried look onto M'ren and Aggie.
"Aggie...while up there...did you by chance see any strange tracks? N'rwe was on her way here...stopped to camp just outside South Swynwood Forest, near the mountains. Keiran says that she too felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave...but couldn't due to her rider's tiredness. Both felt as if they were being watched all of last night." she said, pausing to make sure she had the info correct...going over it in her mind.
"She said when they woke this morning, they found these strange nonhuman tracks surrounding the perimeter of their camp...tracks that neither of them have ever seen before." she went on.
"They will be here in a few days time...Going to stay with N'rwe's brother in Silverhurst." she added as an after thought.
"I think that maybe...those tracks may need to be looked into...though I don't suggest anyone going alone! We don't know what made those tracks or if whatever it was that made those tracks is dangerous!" she said in a serious tone...though her tone held a bit of worry in it.

The Alpha wingleader got that far away look for a moment then refocused. “Trouble here should get some sleep.” He smiled at the beta wingleader. “We can send a couple patrols to the area to have a look around tomorrow. Perhaps we can check with our ground contacts first and see what information they have. No reason to be to hasty just yet.” He looked at the map a moment. “I’ll set up the D squad here from Alpha wing. That puts 10 dragons in the area and if Beta can put there own squad there it should be enough dragons to keep the place well patrolled and not lose to much sight to the rest of the area.”

Listening to M'ren, she gave a nod of agreement...she had always trusted M'ren's judgment. Looking down at her cousin, who had fell asleep.
"Yeah...she needs some...I'll see to her!" she replied, as she went to Aggie, shook her lightly to wake her. "Agzy...you need to go get some rest...if you'd like...my apartment is closer...you can sleep there!" she said when she seen her cousin's eyes open slightly!

Aggie hadn’t meant to fall asleep but the chair was rather comfortable and she was so tired, her lids were so heavy and so she soon lost the battle and drifted asleep. Her hands were interlocked at her fingers and resting on her stomach as she dozed and dreamed.
The dream was a rather nice one with her free of all clothing sitting in one of the smaller hot spring formations and just enjoying some peaceful time alone. That was until the cavern started to shake, opening her eyes in a slight startle, Agvnige soon realized it was only her cousin waking her from her slumber. Growling softly she stood up and shook her head. “No I’ve missed my bed for to long now besides you two lovebirds might make to much noise and wake me up again.”
Turning she left M’ren and T’ka to their own devices while she went back to her apartment removed all her clothing and crashed into the bed, not caring to cover up.

As Aggie woke with a start, T'ka gave a small smile. As her cousin gave a growl, T'ka shook her head slightly...but her words is what had caught her.
Raising an eyebrow at her in a questioning gesture, "Lovebirds? Making too much noise and waking you? Cousin...I seem to recall....it is the other way around and you who have woken me on many occasions with your proclaimed 'innocent' noises." she said, doing her best to keep a straight face while teasing her cousin.
When her cousin then left, heading to her own apartment...T'ka turned back to M'ren. "So what do you think could have made those tracks? I mean most of the creatures in or around that area...we know of...but she had said 'strange and inhuman' so what do you think?" she asked him as she walked over to grab her cup of cinnamon tea, and began sipping at it.
