He was just aimlessly wandering about the warren when he decided to take a peek in the forest. It was not so much as a dumb I dea but for him  a good one. He used to live in a forest for awhile but not this one. Zed was beside him a bit hungry but he knew she could wait a bit. He patted her back slightly and then stopped before the forest. He quickly drew one of his scimitar if there would be a thicket and walked in while Zed waited behind. But still made her way as far as she could. Demetar always knew his compass for that was a main skill for a ranger and he knew he was getting close. He quickly climbed a tree and sat there for awhile looking if he could find any plant to eat when something else caught his eye...or ear. Not so far he could here some very violent growling and whining and wandered what he could be. He looked down and saw the fall only about six or seven feet and jumped down landing with a soft thump. He straightened up and began to follow the noise scimitar still drawn from before. As he went from behind a thicket he could see what was going on. there were three panthers as black as the night sky but thy were not mating. It was a fight and unfair one for it was two against one. Suddenly the two allied panthers jumped to both side and tried to ram into the other panther's side. The panther though took a small step back and the panthers hit eachother which amazed Demetar for the intelect of the amazing creature. But then something bad happened. Out from behind the panther jumped another slashing it from the side. Demetar watched in horror as the other two jumped in and couldn't handle it. Demetar jumped out the bush he was hiding behind and drew his other scimitar. The three panthers turned around revealing their battered victam. Demetar again was horrified and could feel the burning rage work trough him and he let it pass. The first two panthers quickly charged Demetar and with a quick side step he dodged it while his scimitars found the first panther's back stabbing it deeply but Demetar didn't stop yet. his scimitars suddenly disappered from the panther and so did Demetar. But Demetar didn't disappear but attack from underneath. He slid under the dying panther's belly and both his blades found their mark deeping deeply into the animal's heart. He rolled again quickly disappearing again but his speed was matched by the other panthers' and he found himself locking his blades with one of the panther's claws while the other one ran away. Demetar spun his blades around tripping the panther and jumped back. The blades began to twirl around the ranger and began to what seemed like dance. Each hand telling the other what to do. Demetar jumped toward his enemy sending a fury of attacks. Some where matched by the panther's claws while the others made deep cuts in the thin black fur. Demetar then decided to end it. Hr rolled behind his other felled enemy and was quickly followed by the panther but as the panther jump his heart jumped out. Demetar's blades suddenly came up stabbing the tiger deep in the heart pulling it out the other side in pieces. Demetar rolled out the fallen panther releasing his blades and didn't stay and watch what happened. He quickly ran toward the hurt victam and slid beside him. it seemed there was just alot of cuts and the panther would survive. Demetar studied the cuts a bit closer and he knew some plants and faith could do the trick. He listened for any breathing or hearbeat and was happy to find it. He stared into the panther's great black eyes as if saying it would be ok and then turned back to the wounds covering them with some ointment he had on his belt but found that all the cuts wasted it all and he threw it on the ground. The panther slowly stood up and began to lick Demetars feet but Demetar just put up his hand telling the great cat it needs its rest. <Zed contact the closest aniaml healer in the warren you can find and I don't care if you call the Beta Wingleader or the warrenlady I need someone to carry poor Delmar out of here.> *Who?* she asked him back <I ran into a small fight but it will all be ok just get me someone that can help me..Oh yea its a panther almost as black as you.> *Ok but lets hope no one heard the racket in there because I sure have* she stopped and then returned another messege *wait you already nemed himm and how are you sure its a he unless it was the one being atacked then ill understand* <Yes I named it and yes it was being attacked now before you actually call anyone see if you can come in here  maybe we can put him on our saddle.> Zed quickly flew up above the forest spoting Demetar and was glad it was in a clearing but the clearing was to small to land in. Demetar at the same time noticed that too at the same time petting his poor friend who was now resting his head on Demetars foot and seemed t really be thenkful. Demetar looked around more and tried to pick the cat up but at the cat's age of maybe one or two he knew that it would be preety hard. *ok then..I think the warrenlady can speak to any dragon see if she can help but say that im sorry if I bothered her.* Zed didn't answer but quickly sent her messege to the warrenlady. <Lady Tarika..Demetar has ran into a small fight with a panthers while rescuing another from its attackers. The panther is badly hurt and we can't carry it ourselves...Especially because I can't enter the forest....oh yea he sends his apologize if he has bothered you in anyway...> Zed then landed and waited to see if theyll get a replay. Meenwhile Demetar found an even Deeper wound and now knew why the powerful animal had a hard time standing up for its front right foot was covered in deep cuts and so where the others but not as much. _________________ Zed(pronuced Zede (Zeel by rider) Weapon Description (Temporery):: The Left hand scimitar is a a dark fire red which seems to capture sunlight and absorb it. The weapon usually gets very hot on warm days giving it the name Blazing Edge or Blazed. The other scimitar is lighet and reaches the color of a silverish blue. The blade seems to glow at times when light hits it at a certain way and might shine in the dark if it has been out in the daylight for enought time in the day light giving it the name Ceror which translates to a combination of the word light and ice. Both Scimitars are also a centimetar wider then normal scimitars. It was early afternoon, and Tarika was so involved with her work that she had barely heard the mental voice of a dragon not her own. 'Zed?' she asked, as she listened. She was already half way out the door as she heard what was going on. 'Jala...meet me on the Green...and hurry.' she told Jalaran, she knew that Jalaran would be ok to fly now. She grabbed her saddle and harnesses on the way out. 'Ok Zed...tell Demetar I will soon be there...I have to saddle Jala first...and tell him not to move that panther...what ever he does...DO NOT MOVE IT!'  she said practically shouting the last words into Zed's thoughts to be sure the black dragon understood. Tarika ran to the Green, lugging the saddle with her...Jalaran was there waiting for her...she quickly saddled her, checked the harnesses and straps, then mounted her. {What's happening? Why have you called me from my clutch?} Jalaran asked. 'Demetar's been in some sort of battle...a panther is severely injured. He's in the North Swynwood Forest...go Fly Jala!'  she told her once she herself was strapped in. Jalaran launched them into the sky, heading strait for the forest, luckily it wasn't far. As they flew over head, Tarika peered down, and spotted the large black dragon. She urged Jalaran on, she knew the exact clearing the young man was in, and knew that even though it was a ways by foot to where Zed waited...another larger clearing was further ahead, just passed the small one. As they passed the small clearing, Tarika spotted Demetar with the panther...and she hoped he hadn't moved it. Not far from the small clearing, Jalaran dropped down and landed. Tarika removed the straps holding her into the saddle, and ran to the small clearing not far from them. 'Jala...tell Zed where you are and have her meet you here!' she told the queen as she disappeared within the trees. {Zed...my rider says you are to come to the other side of the small clearing...there is a larger one where you can land!}  she told her. Tarika burst through the trees and underbrush into the small clearing, to find Demetar with the injured panther. She slowed her steps and approached slowly, she knew how to react with panthers...and she needed a calm and cool head about her. "Demetar...please tell me you have not moved it at all? By moving an injured animal or person, without knowing the proper way of doing it...could possibly cause more internal injuries." she said as she slowly reached out the the panther...her face calm as well as her thoughts. Tarika had always had such a calming nature with animals and children...which is what made her perfect for her job. Her small hand touched the panther's head gently. The panther moved its' head, as if to cuddle into her hand. "Tamed? Already? You sure it doesn't belong to someone else or had belong to someone else? It could explain why those other two were attacking it." she said to Demetar as her eyes scanned over him. "You ok?" she asked as she spotted blood on him. Her eyes then scanned the panther, and its' injuries. With a small shake of her head, she knew exactly what she had to do. "Ok Demetar...I can't carry it alone...I want you to carry the head end...and be sure to try and keep it from not moving its' head. I will take its' tail end. Jalaran is just a little ways through those trees...where another larger clearing is located...Zed should be there by now. When we get to our dragons...we will put the panther on Jalaran...I've brought extra harnesses just in case we needed them. Trust me, the panther is obviously tamed...and will be fine for the short ride back. Once back in the warren...we will land in front of the Med Center...then we will carry it in the Med Center. He looked upun the wounds again and could see great strength from the animal. He pteed the animals musceled kneck and head untill he saw The queen flying overhead then landing not so far away and then saw Zed coming over must be following the queen at the same time The warrenlady came running in. He counld see the panther moving his head abit but Demetar patted him telling him to rest. He listened to the warrenlady's quick question and answered "no" then looked back at the panther. His friend now. He could see the warrenlady also loved animals much more then anyone he has seen. She wasn't even afraid of getting close to the great cat. Then he heard the warrenlady speak again and that did kind of surprise him. "He might be...But tamed or not this animal is the bravest and most powerful creature i have met beside the dragons." he said showing the respect he usually hid from animals"you shouls have seen him fight as quick as my scimitars and as smart as any other ranger I have met." He eyed the panther closely getting a friendly stare back. This panther will now be under his protection and Demetar will now be protected by it. The panther's skill in combat was great and he already liked the animal. He listened the warrenlady's directions and went infront of the panther who seemed to have fallen to sleep to conserve some energy. When he noticed the warrenlady staring at his blood covered armor and maybe even hair and face. "Oh this" he said wiping some of the blood off."Mostl likely not all mine......" he then quickly stoped and took his place where the warrenlady instructed him."I'm sorry" he said this time noding toward the two dead attackers and got ready to hoist the tiger up even him now showing a bit of mercy. He quickly went away from the two friends and climbed a tree getting some of the larger leaves. He then jumped down with about twenty large leaves falling slowly behind him and pushed the two panthers together then wiped the sweat of his face for that was no easy task.
