It was the first night of the Hatching Festival that was held every time hatching and bounding took place in the Warren. It was truly a joyous time and often the shops in the Warren where shut down and school was let out so the children could have a bit of a relax time. There were games, and sometimes events that showed off the skill and talent of previously bounded riders and their dragons. As people left the Hatching Cavern, Agvnige left to start getting together those that would be helping to decorate the Green for the special event.
Some of her Beta Wing riders were already out working on setting the poles that would surround the green’s outer ring. Between the poles would be strung a mixture of leaves, flowers and ribbons that would be braided together and then hung between the poles that would be then wrapped with a similar string. Walking over to one the girls that was already making the strings with the held of a few other of the Warren’s ladies she smiled as she looked over the coiled of completed strands.
Agvnige then moved over to where the stage for the band and announcements for prizes, and anything else Tarika wished to announce would be held on. It was coming along nicely and the bleachers had been set up for the band to sit on. “Nice job Buck.” She said to one of the beta Wing Riders that was helping a girl put some cloth on the edge of the stage to hide it’s support system. Leaving them alone, she headed over to where the food was being brought out by the women of the Warren who always prepared a feast and from the butcher and his wife that provided a rather large array of meats from ribs with sauce, different flavored jerky or dried meats, to the several large roasting pigs and slabs of lamb, beef and even a few racks of fouls that were being roasted and covered in different flavored sauces.
Nodding to Lillian who was placing a tray of dried meats down, Aggie waited until she was distracted and took a handful of the delicious meat and quickly walked off hoping to avoid the woman’s lecture about taking food before the others had arrived. Heading over to where barrels of wine, ale, whiskey and a beer had been set up on two x shaped stands she grabbed a mug and tasted ale from one of the barrels that had just been tapped. Finishing it off she handed the mug back to one of the Ale brewers and smiled. “Fine brew there, Jameus.” The old man smiled as he put the mug down and went back to instructing his sons and some of the warren’s young males on where to set up the drinks for the kids which would simply be water and juices made from fruits that had been squeezed like apple cider.
Everything looked good so far with the events mostly around one side of the green, which had been set up much like a wheel with four sections from the center ring. In one section was the food, the next was the drinks, then the third was the events like the archery, the stuffed dragon that the Warren and kids could try to break open for toys and sweets, and the fourth section had been set up with the stage. In the center of it all was the area for those that wish to dance. Near the food and drink sections tables had been set up and of course behind these sections where areas of grass and more ground for people to branch out to if they didn’t want to sit at the tables that would for sure be crowded and quickly filled.
Behind the event area a small zone had been set up for a jousting for the village people that were old enough to play in. There would be a similar event in the sky between riders of the dragons that were old enough to fly. There was also to be an aerial show between the two Wing Squadrons before the sun set. Then there was a game that had two ladders like devices and a shield made out of a barrel that had been cut in half. Sticking out to the right side of these stands was a trigger that when hit would cause a near by bucket of water to drop down on the person that was under the bucket. The bucket was on a tall hangman’s like pole that had a little plank under the bucket that would be filled by two people working the game.
The object of the game was to hit the trigger switch or stick so that your opponet was made wet by the bucket of water. To hit the trigger two sets of little bags, one black the other white, had been filled with sand to make them heavy. People playing the game would chose a color take that side, the black on the east and the white on the west, and then when told to go would start throwing the bags at the target until either they were hti with the water or their opponet was. Agvnige had liked the game as a child and had gotten so good dumping the water on to males that tried to get her wet instead that no one had dared to try and beat her. She hoped that sooner or later she would meet a guy, hopefully jess, that could beat her and make the bucket drop the water on to her.
Sighing as she looked around she was glad that everything was almost ready she just had a few last minute details to go over and she had been so lost in memories that she didn’t hear Tarika arrive behind her. _________________ If anyone recongizes this image and can prove me with a link to the site it comes from please PM me so I can credit it Properly.
Aggie's Hatchling Gown (that Tarika is making her wear)

Tarika had left the Hatching Cavern after she had congratulated each new trainee, for that was what they were now...no longer the Searchlings they had been yesterday or even a month ago.
She congratulated the proud parents, as well. And told Jalaran to go off for some much needed relaxation.
As she stepped out into the afternoon sun, she noticed that her cousin had already started the preparations for the Hatching Festival that always followed the hatchings.
Making her way through those who were setting up the games and such. She soon found her cousin, who looked to be lost in her thoughts, as T'ka came up behind her and whispered in her ear. "Thinking of Jes'ret?" she teased, as she linked her arm with her cousin's arm.
She gave a soft laugh, "Come on...we need to get ready! And I'm sure Jes'ret would want to see you looking your best!" she teased some more, as she dragged her cousin away and to her own apartment.
As they entered Tarika's apartment, a variety of Festival dresses had been set out for her. Some were hanging, some laid carefully on the chairs, on the bed and even on the table.
Smiling mischievously, as she closed the door, barring it, staring at her cousin as if she was daring her to question her authority. Jalaran appeared on the ledge outside, blocking Tarika's cousin from leaving that way as well.
She knew her cousin would repay her big time for this...but there was no way she was going to let Aggie get out of there without choosing a dress...even if she did pick one more revealing type of dresses, that showed more than they should.
"You have alot to choose from...so go on and choose...because you're not going to another Festival without wearing a dress and that's final. Your ole dragon leather just won't do it for this festival...so go on and get to choosing." she said with that same mischievous smile. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress

Agvnige had been lost in her thoughts so when her dear sweet cousin came up behind her and started to speak it did make Aggie jump a bit. Turning around she crossed her arms and glared at Tarika. “No for your information Missy I was thinking about how no one has yet to beat me at the sandbag toss.” She only half lied since she had been thinking of him but also how no one had beaten her yet if ever.
Agvnige’s right eyebrow rose when T’ka told her that they needed to get ready. “Um excuse me I’m ready if you want to get all primed and pampered for M’ren go right ahead, dearie.” She then gasped as Tarika grabbed her hand and dragged her off to her apartment. “T’ka I am in my bests.” She tried to stop her cousin for she knew what was next. It happened every time a hatching took place. So far the woman had given up and allowed Aggie to wear what she wanted but for some reason this time she seemed more determined to get her cousin into a dress.
After been well sort of tossed into the room Aggie’s eyes grew big at all the dresses that were around her. It was an ambush. She turned to run out the door only to find it locked and Tarika standing in front of it. She then headed for the dragon’s sunning and take off area and had to slide to a stop as she came face to well belly with the Queen. The trying to stop didn’t work to well and she ended up against Jalaran’s stomach scales.
It was like sliding into a wall, sure it gave a little but it still hurt. Giving up for now Aggie walked over to a chair that was in the middle of the room and sat down. Crossing her left leg over her right, crossing her arms over her chest and getting a rather child like upset look on her face she just eyed her cousin and the door.
‘They forgot this part in the how to escape your enemies class.’ She thought only to receive Silver’s remark with a hint of a smirk in her tone. ~Why don’t you just get it over with? Select a dress and work with her. ~ Aggie threw up her hands and shouted. “Great my own dragon is against me!” She was not a happy warrior at that moment. Sitting there in silence she continued to try and formulate a plan of escape that didn’t involve her doing it in a dress.
An hour went by with a stand off between Tarika and Aggie, suddenly T’ka headed for a bell that was on a stand next to the door. Knowing what the bell was for Aggie got nervous. She could handle her cousin but a room full of girls giggling and gossiping was one room she never wanted to enter in her life, and now she was about to be in one. As the door opened, Aggie bolted for the door, kicking back and over the chair she had been sitting in. Her plans of escape were defeated once again as this time she ran into a wall of local single and some married girls. Backing up in terror, Agvnige was backed up into the chair one of the girls had set back up. Watching as the door was locked again she sighed heavily and sunk into the chair in a pouting upset mood of defeat.
The girls soon broke up into teams, one team would do Agvnige’s hair, another her make up and rid her legs of the hair that had been allowed to grow there, to their horror. And the final team when they weren’t helping Tarika would pick out her gown. Aggie was quiet until one of the girls working on her hair suggested they rewash it but this time adding oils of lavender and rosemary to hide the warrior smell. Pulling away she glared at the three. “And what’s wrong with my warrior smell? I am a warrior not some girl that giggles over every boy that looks at me or my breasts.” She dared them to come close when she felt a familiar hand on her shoulder. “Let them do their job, Agzy they will soon be done and you won’t have to do this until the next hatching. Besides you might like the end result.”
Agvnige groaned but sat back down, knowing that in her heart she had always wanted to be one of the girls her cousin and friends were and yet always afraid to show her softer side to any male. Closing her eyes as the girls undid her ponytail and then in a basin began to wash the dirt and grim of a rider and warrior from her long dark brown locks. It took three washings before they finally got her hair soft enough to be put up into a simple yet elegant hairstyle. It would be slightly up and yet had her natural ringlets cascading down to her shoulders. They then turned her over to those that would work on her face make up, and the scent she would be wearing around her neck and on her wrists.
Once the first two teams where done that final group began to show her dress after dress as she shook her head no to them all though one did catch her eye she still said no. Unfortunately her cousin spotted the slight approval of a beautiful sea blue gown that was low cut in the back the front was held in place by two pieces of fabric that tied in the back, it had very thin straps that held it on the shoulders not that Agvnige needed the aid, and had a neckline that really was Aggie’s style. The gown’s skirt area also had a rather sea like flow to the way it would move with her when she walked. Speaking up for her cousin, Tarika chose the gown and smiled as the others were taken away and the selected garment was then placed on Aggie along with shoes, and jewelry that matched the gown’s beautiful shade of blue.
After the gown was on along with the shoes, the jewelry and some hair pieces to decorate her hair, after the hair was washed, scented and styled, after the markup and perfume were placed the girls and Tarika stood back near and around a full length mirror. Aggie slowly walked up afraid to see what she might see, but as she slowly opened her eyes she was shocked by her appearance. She even gasped as she slowly examined herself. She was a woman or at least the kind her mother had always dreamed she would one day be. She almost started to cry at the sight. Instead she looked to Tarika with a thank you in her eyes. _________________ If anyone recongizes this image and can prove me with a link to the site it comes from please PM me so I can credit it Properly.

Tarika gave a soft laugh as he cousin tried to escape, and running smack into Jalaran's belly. "It's no use dear cousin!" she replied with a smile.
She then rang a bell, which sat on a stand near the door. Standing back as the women and young women, entered. As they had all split into teams, going straight to work on Aggie, T'ka was choosing her own dress.
Here's was a soft, suede leather, light tan in color. The hem hung to the floor, with slits up the side, nearly to her waist...showing a bit more skin than she cared to show normally. The dress' only adornment, was the fringed, darker tan belt around the waist, as well as a matching armband.
She quickly slipped into the dress without second thinking it, due to if she had second thought it...she would change her mind on wearing that dress.
Soft, matching suede leather shoes to match the dress. When she finished, one of the girls came to her and fixed her hair. Her hair was left hanging, with a hair adornment, to match the dress. Makeup had been lightly applied, in a light tan color, also to match the dress.
She then turned her attention to Aggie, who was now saying 'no' to each dress the women held up, though Tarika had spotted the slight approval her cousin had shown in her eyes on one blue one.
Snatching up the dress, "This one will do, and will look great on you!" she replied, knowing that her cousin would say 'no' to every dress there, if she hadn't stepped in.
Once the women got Aggie's hair washed, dress on, makeup on, T'ka smiled in approval, as Aggie opened her eyes to tak a look in the mirror. The look on Aggie's face was...well...priceless.
When Aggie turned to her, her eyes said it all. T'ka smiled again, "You are very welcome, dear cousin. Now we need to head back!" she said with a smile as the women cleaned up, and left them alone.
She took Aggie's arm in hers, and together headed back to the Festival...where all eyes were turning to them. "You look perfect Agzy...I'm sure there will be atleast one here today, besides me...who will be unable to take his eyes from your beauty!" she said softly with a smile, as she looked around to see if Jes'ret had arrived yet. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress

N'rwe had arrived at Ismene Warren a a very special day. She knew the signs, as she landed Kier. As she removed the harnesses, then Kier's saddle, she mentally told Kier to go and take a rest.
Warrenlady Tarika knew she was coming, and was supposed to have her apartment ready. She had met Lady Tarika many times, as well as meeting Lady Tarika's cousin a few times...when they had visited Keldarra on various occasions.
Spotting the two women emerging from the rider's apartment quarters, she headed over to them. After speaking with the Warrenlady, and finding out where her apartment was, she quickly headed there.
Quickly choosing out a dress that was white, with a long, floor length flowing skirt, and a lacy material on the arms...the neckline was a bit low-cut, but beautiful nonetheless.
She then headed over to where Lady Tarika had told her where the hotsprings cavern was located, quickly bathing and then donning the dress, as well as sweeping her hair up a bit, leaving a few tendrils of curls hanging down.
She then left the cavern, and headed back to the Green, where she could properly greet the Warrenlady, as well as her cousin, the Beta Wingleader.
She found the two quickly enough, and strolled over to them. "Lady Tarika...I would like to thank you for letting me finally come home!" she said softly, then looked at the Beta Wingleader.
"And Aggie...it's great to see you again!" she said with a smile. _________________ <--N'rwe's Hatching Festival Dress

T'ka turned as she heard a voice...and spotted N'rwe. After a brief instructions on where to find her apartment and the hotsprings, T'ka turned back to her cousin and N'rwe went off.
A short time later, N'rwe returned greeting them properly. She turned back to her. "It's nice to see you again, you look nice as well!" she said with a smile.
"So you planning to put that beautiful voice of yours to work this evening?" she asked with another smile, hoping the woman would be too tire for singing at the festival. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress

Dakon stood up on Koth's nose, easily balancing from the dragon's involuntary twitches from Dakon's boots on his nose.
>This is undignified for a dragon you know. We were not meant as beasts of burden.< The large blue-green dragon complained.
<You're right, we were meant to protect this warren at all costs. And right now, the safety of this celebration going off successfully is at risk, so stop complaining and lift me higher.> Dakon responded, grinning. The dragon grumbled but lifted him higher, allowing to Dakon to tie off the rope on the tall pole. The pole was one of several that was being used to hoist up the canvas covers for the party.
Suddenly, Koth twitched violently, causing Dakon to yell as he fell and caught himself on one of the dragon's horns. <What the hell are you doing?!>
>Sorry...I thought I saw a dragon I recognized. MY mistake.< The dragon responded sheepishly, twisting his head at an awkward angle to allow Dakon to climb back up.
<Uh huh, ok. See all you want, just be more careful. It's a long way down.> Dakon said, motioning for another rope to be thrown up so he could tie it off. Right under his feet he did not notice one large dragon eye shift over and lock on to a slimmer blue dragon who landed with undeniable female grace. The rider climbed down and, after seeing several bags off and towards the rider's apartments, began walking towards the Warren Lady's apartments.
<Would you please pay attention!?> Dakon said, stomping his foot lightly onto the dragon's nose. Koth blinked and sneezed before he could stop himself, causing Dakon to stumble and almost fall once again.
Picking himself up, Dakon glared at the very embarrassed Koth who appeared to be trying to hide behind his shadow. <Stop letting your attention wander. That's twice you almost got me killed.>
<Sorry, sorry, wont happen again. I swear.< Koth responded, rolling both eyes up and blinking innocently at his rider. Dakon glared suspiciously at the dragon for a moment, then turned back with a sniff and motioned for another rope.
Koth managed to keep his attention to the work at hand for another five minutes before his eye drifted again and settled on the blue dragon. She was walking away towards the dragon's riders apartments, but the arch of her neck and the swish of her tail created a very small rumble that rolled up from Koth's chest. _________________
<You'd better hurry up!> Asralyn told the searcher. <If you don't, all the food will be gone by the time you get there!>
*There'll be plenty of time,* Jesseret told the dragon. *I just have to finish getting dressed, and then you can drop me off at the edge of the green. Let the people who get there AFTER I do worry that I'll have all the food eaten up!*
<Well, actually, I'm on my way to the hot springs,> Asralyn told him. <Which means you'll need to walk, which in turn means that you'd better hurry.>
Jesseret grumbled, but knew there was little point. He finished putting on his black leather tunic - the one that was cut to reveal a generous (though not excessive) view of his muscular chest - and looked in the mirror to stare approvingly at his shiny, leather-clad form. The matching, tight fitting pants and high boots looked good, if he did say so himself, and the gold chain around his neck added a nice highlight. He strapped on the decorative dagger - strictly for show, it's blade was too dull to do so much as peel an apple - and the effect was complete. With a satisfied nod, he turned and headed to the green where people were already gathering.
He put on his best casual-looking saunter as he passed by one of the food stalls, and unobtrusively snagged a meatroll. "Hey!" said the man who had been arranging the rolls. "Put that back! We ain't ready to be givin' those out yet!"
Jesseret gazed at the man with a practiced sneer. "My good sir, do you have any IDEA who I am?" he asked.
The man scowled back. "No, yer friggin' Lordship, I don't know who the hell you are. I suppose I should?"
Jesseret cocked his head. "No, you should not - and see that it remains that way!" And with that the snickering searched neatly disappeared around the corner of the tent and vanished into the crowd with his purloined meatroll. Not easy to report someone to the Warrenlady when you don't know his name, he reflected with satisfaction.
Replacing his practiced sneer with his practiced saunter, Jessret milled through the crowd, looking to see if he could spot anyone he knew. _________________
Taking her cousin’s arm she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Slowly letting it out she followed her out into the green, it was clear form how tight she was holding on to Tarika’s arm that she was nervous. She kept wondering if Jess would approve of the gown or if he would laugh at her, if he laughed she would never show her face. Well at least not for the rest of the festival.
As the guys of not only her own squadron turned to look but it seemed every male but the one she was hoping for was paying her more attention then they ever did when she was in her chain mail armor or her leather outfits. Hearing the gasps of the women who now saw a woman of glory and true beauty before them as she walked beside her cousin, she couldn’t help but blush a little. Leaning close to T’ka she whispered. “Do you truly think so, cousin? I don’t think he I seven coming I don’t see his face among the crowd.” Her dark eyes searching the faces for the one she truly longed to see, Jesseret’s.
Sighing in disappointment when she could not find it she stopped as a familiar young girl approached them. Letting her cousin do most of the talking as she spoke with Silver and well to herself she didn’t realize that the girl had not only come and left but had returned again this time wearing a beautiful white gown. “Huh? Oh sorry.” She snapped out of her thoughts and looked into the face of a familiar friend from another Warren. Smiling she bowed her head towards the Red Head. “Hello Narwe, glad to see you home. The Journey was a safe one I hope? And how is brother getting along? Need any supplies?” She was back into her role as Beta Wing leader and well sort of the People’s Person between those not bound and those bound especially to Tarika.
When Silver answered her thoughts Aggie looked off as if staring off into a cloud. ‘What? Repeat that Silver.’
~I said not to worry. Jess will be here you know he comes to every Festival and I’m sure he’ll look just as handsome as any human drake could hope to look. I know he’ll be shocked and delighted to see you in that gown. I bet he’ll be able to see the real woman you are that you try to hide behind the dirty talking, rough riding, and I’m just as strong as any drake attitude of yours. So just relax have fun. ~
Aggie sighed; Silver and her cousin were right she just needed to relax she was no different then if she had worn her finest leather or chain mail. She was just in a piece of garment she had never worn in her entire life up to this point and had never thought that she would ever wear. Turning to speak with Lily her right hand in the Beta Wing second only to Dakon, she didn’t see who had just entered the Green.
Nodding and waving Lily off she turned and gasped grabbing Tarika’s arm rather roughly. “Tar…T…” she couldn’t even talk because of what no who stood in the crowd just a few feet away. She began to tug on her cousin’s arm and when she was sure she had her attention, Agvnige raised her left hand and pointed with a hand that shook as if she were a sapling in a summer windstorm.
She couldn’t’ believe her own eyes, there before her was Jess; but it couldn’t be him she had never seen him so… so handsome. The leather he wore moved with his body as if they were nothing more then his own muscle and skin. Swallowing the lump that for the first time in her life appeared in her throat her eyes followed the outline that was his form. Everything that she had come to find appealing about him was brought out by the way the leather had been skillfully tailored to his form. When he turned she felt her knees go weak and had she not been holding on to Tarika she would have fallen to the ground as she realized his shirt was open just enough to give any girl a rather appetizing peek at the muscular chest that laid beneath the fabric.
Her eyes couldn’t help but wonder and as they did she groaned and took her bottom lip into her mouth between her top set of teeth and the lower set. Anything her womanly imagination had created was dashed away in a poof of smoke as the festival garment Jesseret wore now burned a whole new image into her mind and soul. She suddenly needed a drink and yet she was afraid to move for fear of her knees not wanting to work like knees were supposed to normally do. ‘Damn it Silver I fear I have forgotten how to walk or something is truly wrong with my legs.’ And yet there was no reply by Silver.
‘Great my own dragon abandons me, AGAIN!’ she thought as she prayed that Tarika wouldn’t desert her as well. She also prayed that Jess wouldn’t come over, not now, not when the moment her cousin would release her arm then Agvnige would surely fall even if it was into his big powerfully muscular arms. She screamed inside her head and tore her eyes away from Jess’s body in hopes that looking away she would finally gain control of her knees again. _________________ If anyone recongizes this image and can prove me with a link to the site it comes from please PM me so I can credit it Properly.

Jesseret continued to browse his way around the green, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells. The sights and sounds were mostly of people working to finish setting things up, but more and more of the revellers were arriving. Some of them it took him a moment to recognize, as they were dressed in fine silks and bright fabrics rather than their usual workaday clothes. He was glad he'd dressed up, otherwise he'd have looked a bit shabby in this company!
<Hah, told you!> Asralyn said in his head. <If I hadn't reminded you, you'd have showd up looking like an itinerant salesperson!>
*We call them traders, and no I wouldn't have!* Jesseret told the dragon. *Go back to sleeping or whatever you were doing.*
<Soaking,> came the reply, and Jesseret decided he had absolutely no desire to find out what Asralyn was up to now!
From behind him he heard some "ooh's" and "aah's" from some of the already-arrived partygoers, and turned to see Ismene's warrenlady standing nearby, flanked by two well-dressed young women. One of them he knew he hadn't met...but the other...hm, she seemed familiar somehow, but he was sure he'd have remembered someone like *her* at the Warren! Their eyes met for a moment, and he was again struck by that feeling of familiarity. His eyes surreptitiously followed her shapely curves, veiled by the shimmering blue dress..and kept following the curves...until Tarika cleared her throat.
"Jesseret, I'd like you to meet N'rwe, she just arrived from Keldarra Warren," Tarika said with a smile.
"Very pleased to meet you!" Jesseret said, bowing elegantly to N'rwe. He'd heard of Keldarra, but had never been there. It was, if he heard right, one of those barbarous "lost warrens" that had only within the last few years been rediscovered. N'rwe certainly didn't seem like a rustic sort, so maybe he had misunderstood. "Welcome to Ismene! Will you be staying here with us for long?"
He turned to the other young woman, to whom he'd not been introduced. "My name is Jesseret," he said smoothly, and he started to give her a gracious bow as well. Darn, she seemed familiar, but he was sure he'd have remembered meeting somebody this gorgeous. He was halfway into his bow when it connected. He gasped, stopped in mid-bow, and stumbled forward a step...and found himself right at eye-level with her very generous...um...chest...
"A...ah...Aggie?" he stammered, his eyes wide open in wonder. _________________
T'ka wondered why her cousin had been acting so strangely, until she turned her head and spotted Jes'ret and gave a smile...for she then knew why Aggie was acting strangely.
"Agzy, stop acting like some young teenager...he's just a man!" she whispered to her, trying to pry her hands from her arm, just as Jes'ret approached them. She gave him a smile as she introduced N'rwe.
"Actually Jes'ret, N'rwe is from around here...Silverhurst had been her home town, before going to Keldarra to apprentice as a Bard. She ended up joining to Kieran, along with becoming a Bard as well." she replied with a smile at N'rwe.
She didn't bother introducing Aggie, simply because he knew her already, but seeing his face...then hearing his words....she was starting to think she should have.
Then he finally recognized her, T'ka gave him a smile, hoping her cousin wouldn't reprimand him for not recognizing her...she did look like a whole new person after all. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress

N'rwe turned to Tarika as she spoke. "I'd be honored to sing!" she said softly, as she turned to Aggie, and smiled. "Aggie, I wasn't sure you remembered me. Thank you....I'm glad to be home. Karlan is doing well. Actually i brought my own supplies, and what I didn't bring, Tarika's be kind enough to help with. Yes my journey...though long as it was....had been a safe one.....but I must mention that I had found some strange tracks just south of here...near the South Swynwood Forest. I've never seen tracks like those before...not human that's for sure...nor dragons." she said just as Aggie started acted a bit 'odd'...of course Aggie had always been a bit on the odd side...but this was more than usual.
Turning her head, and looking along Aggie's eyes sight, she suddenly knew why...and well...she couldn't blame the woman. He was a very handsome man....maybe not her own type...but handsome nonetheless.
As the man approached them, Tarika introduced them. The man actually bowed to her, which was a bit odd in itself as well. 'People of Ismene Warren are quite different from those in Keldarra!' she thought to herself.
She found herself giving just the bow of her head in acknowledgement to him. "Nice to meet you as well." she said with a kind smile.
Tarika went on, as she gazed over the crowd. Turning back as she heard Tarika tell the man that she was originally from around here. "Yes, as Tarika has said I am originally from around here, but had gone to Keldarra to become an apprentice and later a Bard, what I hadn't expected was to be joined to Keiran as well during my stay there. But yes, I will be staying!" she replied with a smile as she turned to look through the crowd.
"Excuse me....I'm rather parched...I need to get something to drink!" she told all of them, and slipped away from them, heading toward where the drinks were set up.
As she walked, she passed by a blue-green dragon. Looking up at it, she noticed a man....standing on the dragons head? She was unable to see the man's face, as his back was turned to her. With a shake of her own head, she continued on.
As she approached the drink tables, she chose a nice red wine for herself, and then thinking of the man on the dragon...and how he may be thirsty, she grabbed a mug of beer as well, then started to head back the way she had come.
Passing that same dragon again, and looking up at the man who was tying off some ropes. The man's back was still turned toward her, so she was still unable to see his face, but she called up to him. "You look thirsty, care for a drink? I have a mug of beer for you...but I could get you something else if you wish?" she said kindly as she waited for him to turn and take notice of her. _________________ <--N'rwe's Hatching Festival Dress

Lucio had visited the hot springs, took a quick bathing, and washed his hair for the Festival. Returning to the Barracks, Lucio let the towel he had been using and that was wrapped around his waist fall to the ground as he looked at his outfit that was laid out on his bed.
Changing into a pair of black pants and a dark blue shirt that was left slightly open to reveal the muscular chest Lucio had worked so many of his teen age years on. Around his waist was a black leather belt as to keep his pants not only up but to keep the shirt in. Brushing his slightly curly hair back he then placed his feet into a pair of calf high black leather boots.
Now fully dressed, Lucio headed out to the green hoping to find Kaiari and maybe just maybe ask her to dance with him, even if it was a private dance with just the two of them away from the crowd of the Festival goers. As he entered the green, his dark eyes scanned the crowd for her but sighed in disappointment when he could not find her. _________________ Aer

After leaving Tyae asleep with the other hatchlings, Kaiari had left and headed to the Hot Springs, praying that she'd be alone in there while she cleaned up. She gave a sigh of relief as she noticed that it had indeed been empty, and clear of others.
She quickly cleaned herself, grabbed her robe and put it on, then headed back to the barracks, where she dressed in a nice green festival dress, with matching colored, low heeled, comfortable shoes.
Lightly applying a bit of make-up, though what she put on, was barely noticeable and looked very natural on her skin. She then dabbed a bit of scented oil on her neck and wrists, then did an upsweep with her hair, leaving a few tendrils of curls hanging down around her face.
When all was done, she turned and headed out the door, and out onto the Green, her eyes scanning the milling crowd for....for what exactly? 'Lucio?' she thought, with a smile spreading across her face as she thought of his name.
As she walked through the crowd, she suddenly stopped, as she realized he was right in front of her. Taking a deep breath, letting it out slowly, she spoke. "Lucio?" she said, waiting for him to turn around and notice her. _________________ <--K'ri's Hatching Festival Dress

“Lucio?” a simple question that brought a smile to the young man’s face. Turning, as he knew who had said his name form the softness of her voice and from the heat that hit his backside, not that he didn’t like it. What was waiting for him as he turned around shocked him and caused his jaw to drop and not just his eyes to enlarge. Swallowing a lump as he some how managed to close his jaw he tried to talk only to find that for once he was speechless.
Looking over her figure, Lucio’s gaze followed the curve of Kai’s body as if trying to sketch the image in his mind for later. The simple ebb and flow of the curves that formed her breasts, her hips and those legs he was amazed to see had rather nicely toned muscle. But it was the chest and hips that was stirring the fire in his blood sending it to placed he would have rather it didn’t. At least not in the pants he was currently wearing. Swallowing a second lump he tried again and though almost hushed and shaky, Lucio still managed to say her name. “Kaiari?”
He stood there as he looked over her again and then turned to glare at a young man that had dared to whistle out at her. Taking her hand he led her to a more private area of the green and Festival where no man’s eyes but his own would be able to look upon her. “What are you trying to do to me?” he asked with a hint of a whimper. His eyes held a plead in them but for what he would never truly know why. _________________ Aer

Kaiari watched as Lucio turned, jaw dropping, eyes popping out. She smiled as she was hoping for an reaction such as this.
She remained quiet as he looked her over. Then seeing the glare he sent to a young man, who had dared to whistle at her, he then grabbed her hand and took her someplace a bit more private.
She gave a small laugh, "Lucio...what are you doing?" she asked him.
Then as he spoke again, she gave a soft laugh, "Not what you had expected huh?" she replied, with a small gleam in her eyes.
She then did something she had never done before, and actually hugged him close to her, allowing him to feel that heat flowing from her body.
Her body tensed a bit as she did it, but atleast she was making progress. She had planned this all out before coming here...planned to allow the closeness, allow her skin to be touched. _________________ <--K'ri's Hatching Festival Dress

Agvnige didn’t turn her head or her eyes to look at her cousin but the remark about Jess just being a man sent her mind into overload with one simple thought. ‘Yeah but what a man.’ As a soft smirk spread cross her red painted lips.
When she realized Jess was looking at her Aggie for the first time in her life turned bashful or was it being humble? Either way she keep her eyes and head down as T’ka did the talking along with Narwe for a short time before she left the little group to get a drink. Not sure if he was still looking at her or not, Aggie dared to look up but in doing so she locked gazes directly with the man she had desired since she realized boys or males were fun to have not just to beat up.
When Jess introduced him self to her, Aggie giggled and covered her mouth with her fingertips, as her eyes grew big. She the Beta Wing leader had just giggled like a schoolgirl. Ok what was in the gown some kind of potion that was making her act in a manner that wasn’t her self? That or the jerky had been laced with something. She would check into that later for now she was praying her cousin and Jess hadn’t heard the giggle or she would die of embarrassment right then right there.
Whispering softly she answered him, “I know.” She then smiled not realizing that her smile was now lighting up her eyes to reveal the soft warm honey color they had and not the dark chocolate almost ebony brown hue they seemed to always hold in their irises. Her left hand was moved form her lips to tuck a piece of hair that had falling in front of her ear, as Jess stopped in the middle of his bowing. Though the bowing was nice she grew worried when he stumbled forward.
Reaching out to him she placed her hands on his biceps and felt butterflies fluttering around in her stomach as she felt the muscles that he had clearly taken time to build up. She looked down, her gaze falling on his hair and she couldn’t help but notice how soft it looked and wondered what it would feel like to run her fingers through it while he kissed her. It was then she realized where his gaze was and turned so red she was sure he would see the flesh on the top half of her chest, that was exposed from the gown’s low neckline, turn red as well as her ears and cheeks.
When he did manage to look up into her eyes and stuttered her name she looked down and nodded. “Yes, Jess.” She wanted to say more but didn’t know how to say it which for her was a rather odd switch since she normally never had any problem speaking her mind. Helping him up she stood there holding on to his biceps as she looked into his eyes. “You look rather ….” She swallowed and then dared to say it though it was a soft whisper. “Handsome.” _________________ If anyone recongizes this image and can prove me with a link to the site it comes from please PM me so I can credit it Properly.

Lucio looked down at her well down at her chest before he snapped back up into attention at her words. “I… I just didn’t know you had something as beautiful as you among your wardrobe. Compared to me and my outfit you’re a rose among a bed of thorns.”
He was a bit taken back by her hug and so at first his arms didn’t wrap around her but as the sweet scent of the perfume and her washed body and hair hit his nostrils, Lucio closed his arms and held her tight against him. Loving every minute of it, he closed his eyes as his left arm and hand was wrapped around her waist, his fingers curving around until they touched her front side. His right arm was across her back but his hand found it’s home on the back of her neck and shoulders.
Pulling back just enough that he could looked into her eyes, his right hand slid around until it made contact with her cheek and ear. Lucio rubbed his thumb over her lips and then holding her head tenderly like a long lost lover he pressed his lips against Kai’s as he let her body stay pressed against his own, ignoring the bulge in his pants her gorgeously seductive body had created. _________________ Aer

T'ka gave a nod to N'rwe as she left, wandering through the crowd toward the drinks. She then turned to her cousin, noticing how she seemed to be acting strangely, even letting out a small giggle.
She gave her a smile, but didn't remark on that. Then suddenly, she had an idea. Grinning mischievously at her cousin, so Jes'ret couldn't see it, she laid her hand on the back of her cousin's shoulder...still smiling that way.
"Since you two already know each other..." she gave a soft laugh. "Aggie...I'm sure would love a dance with you Jes'ret!" she added as she shoved her cousin into Jes'ret's arms.
"I'll just be getting myself something to drink...maybe talk with N'rwe and do a bit of catch up!" she said as she left the two together...and went off alone...toward the drink table.
She passed N'rwe, talking to Dakon, who was up on top his dragon's head, but she passed them by, and continued on to the drinks.
She chose a red wine...one of Elle's she assumed...and from the taste of it...she was correct. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress

For a moment, kaiar had thought she had shocked Lucio too much for him not to even wrap his arms around her...and she was about to let him go, when she felt his arms finally wrap around her.
She smiled against his ear. What surprised her, was when he pulled away slightly, and the next she knew, he was kissing her.
She could actually feel her own warmth radiating from her body as well as her lips. She knew full well, that Lucio could feel it as well.
After a few moments, she finally pulled away. "You know...I don't intend on staying here all night. They have something planned for us newly joined...not to mention...I would like something to drink...if that's ok?" she said with a smile, as she looked into his eyes. _________________ <--K'ri's Hatching Festival Dress

Jesseret gulped when Aggie made the comment about him being 'handsome.' All of a sudden it seemed like the whole world was being turned on its ear...here was Aggie standing in front of him, looking absolutely...beautiful. And she said that he was...handsome? But she WAS absolutely beautiful, something he'd never actually noticed before...
"Absolutely beautiful," he murmured as he gazed at her, not even fully realizing he'd said it aloud.
Just then he found Aggie in his arms, and his eyes went wide as he automatically positioned his arms around her to keep her from losing her balance and falling. Wow, he thought, as he felt her warm, luscious body pressed against him.
"Um...hi," said the stunned searcher. His mind raced for something clever to say, but what came out by sheer instinct was, "Um...er...would you like to dance?" _________________
With the Hatching now done, M'ren's job only got more busy. It was now his job to make sure none of the hatchlings had been over feed, they were well cared for, all the young dragons should sleep for then next 10 hours which meant an early start for the new dragon riders. It would be his job to teach them how to care feed and so on.
When he reached his appartment it appeared someone had laid out his clothing, there would be a festival on the green and he should at least make an appearance. The outfit before him was formal and he felt stange putting it on. So use to wearing leathers he didn't actually ever get to wear silk.
The black silk pants floated loosely down his legs and the black silk shirt was opened nearly to his navel where the long sleeves billiowed out around his arms then wraped snugly at his wrist. A white slash made for a belt. A long rapier in black and white sheath and silver handle fit nicely to his side. A dagger to the other side.
He set down and pulled on his black leather boots that folded back from his thighs to so that his boots were just barely over his knees. He slipped another dagger into his boot.
A White with silver trimed cloak completed the outfit. He looked at himself in the mirror and rolled his eyes. Though his face was not unkind the scar seemed to remind him that he was no beauty to look at.
Scar was kinda enough to bring the wingleader to the green where the festival was already started. Looking around he stood studying the scene before him like a general working out the battle plan for a most deadly challange. There were some very beautiful women and his eyes seemed to pass over Tarika for a moment then came racing back to her. Gads! He thought, she really has grown up. Oddly he felt he had a hard time not staring her. So he made his way to warrenlady and hoped he didn't scare her away to much. For really what person could ever admire his hiddeous face. _________________
T'ka was just turning around to start making her way back the way she had come...mainly to spy on her cousin...just to see if she was actually doing what she had expected the two to be doing when she had shoved Aggie into Jes'ret's arms, and left them.
As she was turning around, went to take a step, she stopped dead on as she spotted M'ren coming toward her. Her eyes widened just a bit at the sight. She was so used to seeing him in his riding leathers, that this 'new' look for him was...well...rather enticing...to say the least. She took in his every move, watching the way the black silk seemed to move in waves over his body.
As he came up to her, she raised her dark brown eyes to met his eyes. Her eyes lingered to the scar on his face for barely a moment. She cared not about that scar...had she been some other woman...she might have...but to her...outward appearance didn't matter...what mattered was what was lying beneath that out shell.
Had she been some young girl, she might have flown into his arms right there...but she was not that young girl any longer...and with the title she held...she had to set an example for others.
She gave him a smile, still a bit excited from the hatchings earlier...as she always had felt during such occasions. She leaned in closer, and actually dared to give him a quick peck on the cheek. Surprising herself, and mostly likely him as well. A friendly gesture, though she wished it were more. 'If only he knew!' she thought to herself, and was a bit startled to hear Jalaran's snippy reply.
{Well...why don't you just tell him? If you don't I will tell Scar and he will tell him!} she said, letting her voice fade from T'ka's mind again, as T'ka's eyes widened.
Jalaran in fact didn't wait any time waiting for T'ka to tell M'ren anything. She spoke to Scar, telling him how her rider actually felt for his rider.
"M'ren...glad you could finally make it. Trainees and hatchlings didn't give you any problems I hope?" she said, all the while wanting to wrap her arms around him.
Taking another glass of red wine from the table, she turned back to him. "Care for some wine? Or maybe a mug of cold beer or ale?" she asked him, hoping that later he would atleast ask her to dance. _________________ <--T'ka's Hatching Festival Dress
