Name:Tarika Nickname:Tari by most, T'ka by Jalaran and those closest to her. Age:25yrs. Gender:Female Height:5'4" Weight:120 Skin Color/Appearance:Tanned soft skin, looks as if she's 20 instead of 25. Wears deerskin clothing, in a Warrior/Indian style. Wears a feathers in her hair...sometimes. Hair Color:Dark Brown, with softer brown highlights. Her hair hangs striaght, and past her shoulders. Sometimes wavy, from wearing it in one single braid down her back, or wrapping the braid up in a bun hairstyle. Eye Color:Soft brown, though some may say they darken depending on her mood. Personality:Tarika has a kind and caring soul. If she could, she'd take in any stray animal, or child and care for them on her own. She has been known to extend her kindness to anyone in need. But....misuse her, mistreat her, or take advantage over what she offers, she is known to have quite a temper. Abilities/Talents:Tarika trained at an early age to become an Healer, although she never progressed very far. Since a young age, she knew of her strong Telepathic abilities, allowing her speak to any dragon...although that dragon must want to communicate to her. Most do now though, now that she's the Queenrider Mistress. Weaknesses:Her only weakness is her heart...she cares too much for others, which in turn, finds herself in regretful situations. Although she had healing abilities, she was never quite as good as her mother, just could never get the hang of it. Father's Name:B'kel, used to be a WingLeader, before a Wraith attack cost him his life. (Deceased) Mother's Name:Korlina, she was a Dragon Healer, when the same Wraith attack that cost B'kel's life, had cost her own as well. (Deceased) Cousin:Agvnige Wahya...but goes by Aggie for short.
History:Tarika had been born and raised within the Warren. At a very early age she found that she had the ability to telepathically speak to the dragons of the Warren. Her ability was strong enough to communicate over long distances.
When she was old enough to take on training to become a Healer, her mother personally gave her the training needed, although Tarika never fared well in this skill, she did learn the basics...enough to atleast get by...and help her mother when it was needed.
She grew as any normal child would, running, playing, doing chores around the Warren. She enjoyed helping others when she could. By the time she was ten, her telepathic ability had strengthen...which was about the time her parents had found out. B'kel, being the WingLeader, had taken the news straight to the WarrenLady.
Her parents, of course were proud of her, though her mother deeply wanted her daughter to become the Healer that she herself was. Tarika's father, on the other hand, had other plans for their daughter...knowing that one day...his little girl would become a rider.
By the time she was fourteen, she found she could speak to any dragon in the Warren, over long distances now. She also found, that some of those dragons could be very stubborn in who they communicated with, which sometimes frustrated Tarika.
A year later, she found herself mourning over the deaths of her parents after a recent Wraith attack. She herself, suffered minor cuts and bruises, nothing too severe.
She had never seen anything like this before, though she had heard stories of the Wraiths.
Warrenfolk then cared for her, and in the very next year...at sixteen, she had her chance to finally walk onto the hot sands of the Hatching Cavern, and be presented to newly hatched dragons.
Tarika nearly cried, as she heard the small voice of one hatchling in particular, communing to her, among all the others who were choosing their life-partners.
When Tarika turned her gaze toward the mass of hatchlings, she spotted one making her way toward her. The only queen in the clutch, and she was headed straight for Tarika.
When the small queen came to a stop in front of her, all Tarika could do was stare in wonder, taking her time to look the hatchling over, while the hatchling took that same time to introduce herself. {I'm Jalaran} she told Tarika, as she came closer. Tarika was suddenly squatting down in front of the hatchling, still unable to believe her eyes. Not only had she joined, but she had joined to a queen.
Tarika had ran her hands over the hatchling's metallic, indigo colored scales.
Nine years had passed the two by, Tarika finally became the WarrenLady of Ismene Warren, she knew her parents would have been proud of her and how her life turned out.

Abilities/Talents?:Breathes fire, that burns like acid.
