Hair: Dark Black Hair cut short other then a single braided of hair that falls to the middle of his back
Appearance: A tall powerfully strong man with a commanding aura about him. Muscles built from hours of practicing various weapons, he walks like a cat and speaks with a deep voice that seems to echo from the depth of his throat. A number of scars on his face taking away what ever beauty was there before leaving behind the image of cracked stone.
Personality: A hard task master, demanding nothing but the best from his wing. In the air and in battle is when M'ren really shines. People say he can read his enemies very thoughts before they can ever act on them. Those who are able to get closer to him, find he is more a gentle bear, but likely to never show that part of himself. Relationships he finds himself at a lost and tends to approach them more as battle, which tends to leave him alone.
Habits: M'ren enjoys drinking, but never to the extent of getting drunk. He also enjoys a good game of poker or chess. Though he has a hard time finding people that will play poker with him because he rarely loses. M'ren has a smoking pipe, and enjoys relaxing to a nice smoke. He tends to always have a jerky with him and can be seen idly chewing some.
Family: M'ren has no living relatives as far as anyone knows, His grandfather died a year after he became a dragon rider. There was a mention of a sister but M'ren has never confirmed or denied it.
Weakness's: Failure, M'ren has a hard time stomaching failure. He has been know to lose his anger at the lose of keeping his wing members safe from harm. Children, he hasn't a clue with what to do with them and they tend to scare him almost as much as he scares them.
Talents: M'ren is trained battle strategist, a highly skilled weapons master with or with out a weapon. A master of poker. He can cook camp food enough that it will not kill you. He knows basic first aid and trains all his wing mates to know the same. M'ren knows how to do courtly dances but has only ever used the skill a couple times since he has been a rider. He enjoys riding horses and is a skilled horseman. He has various other talents that he has learned over time but has basic skills and knowledge with them.
History: M'ren was raised by General Xanlen Quartlian and the Lady Vivlian Ashrian, M'ren is believed to be the oldest of two children of a long line of commanding military men. His sister had run away at a very young age of 15 while the General was away in battle. M'ren felt responsible for not keeping her from leaving, but his father and mother were never able to confront him about the issue for they were ambushed, though his father had killed the ambushers they had managed to kill the General and Lady as well.
At age 17 retired General Jelupien Quartlian, the father of the general took M'ren in to his home. At age 19 his grandfather was on business in the warren, it was then that M'ren and Scar where bonded. M'ren learned what he needed quickly. He was never satisfied with the other wing commanders feeling they always fell short of what a wing commander was suppose to be.
M'ren never sought out trouble, but was never reluctant to embrace it when it came his way. Which meant he spent more time in the warren lady and wing commander office as well as working off his punishments.
An old dragon rider named K'lar tought M'ren how to play poker and for a long time, 5 or 6 would gather with M'ren, in the beginning he lost a fair amount of times but after a year of playing, M'ren never left the table in the rears, so people stopped playing unless M'ren was willing to not play for funds.
In M'rens 5th year as a dragon rider a wraith attack went horribly wrong, The wingleader went down and the seconded was horribly wounded and might lose his dragon. M'ren took over with a commanding authority that no one was willing to balk at he managed to round up the surviving dragon riders and destroy the wraiths. After the battle M'ren was raised to wingleader it took only a couple days to bring the older riders in line who thought it was a mistake because M'ren was so young for a wingleader.
M'ren was considered a very handsome man and many of the woman would flirt with the wingleader, until on a hunting trip Alia, a woman M'ren cared very much for was attacked by a bear while he was off dealing with natures call. So angered M'ren attacked the bear with his long knife. The bear lost the battle but not with out leaving his marks on the Wingleader. The bear was skinned and the meat preserved. In M'ren's room is a bearskin rug and the jerky M'ren eats is thought to be the meat of the bear. (It was but the meat has long since been used up and now it is just normal beef or venison jerky).

Appearance: Scar has many markings from various battles, but he displays them with pride.
Personality: Where M'ren tends to be a serious tactician, scar enjoys pranks. Scar is far more light hearted though a bit prideful and though his body has many scars of battle he tends to be a bit vain on his looks. Scar enjoys flying over lakes just so he can look at himself in the lakes reflection.
Special Talent: Scar has a sixth sense when it comes to danger or wraiths. It is not uncommon to hear Scar call the alarm of a Wrath attack before a message of such attack arrives. Scar has also warned the warren of natural disasters or if M'ren is threatened with harm.
