Day 1 twilight

Being most of the time in the office this afternoon Demetar felt like a quick unwind before eating. He messeged to Zed if she wanted to come but all he got back your calm snores and understood she was still sleeping so he didn't bother waking her up yet. He walked a bit around the green and then began a small jog around where he was. Frequently a dragon might run over his head and he would look up. He was about to draw his scimitars but stoped his reflexes and remembering what M'ren and the warrenlady tolled him. He stopped joging after a while and sat down. He looked around a bit then drew his scimitars from the seathes and sat them on the ground. he then took his belt with the seathes and the 2 knives and dagger and laid them beside him too. He then also took of his cloack living him with his breast plate and leather leggings. he took off his breastplate which was beggining to make him fill really warm living him with the soft cotton shirt. Hidding his scimitars and other weapons well under the heavy cloack he calmed down and began to meditate. he remembered the days in the academy where he always skipped meditation to get a start on his knife throwing, scimitar work or hand to hand combat untill he got was put down all night to meditate. After that night though he learned meditating really helped.
With his eyes closed he could almost see the whole world he's been to. From his village to the parts of the forest he and Zed were at. To the blood covered fields were the barbarian boddyies lay before him after they tried to harm Zed. Some places were pleasent. Everything semmed to come to him. Even the 1 year class where he exceled in the forging of the scimitar but after so many years he was sure he couldn't make them as good as his black blood scimitars.

Day 1 Early Evening

After what seemed hours he was startled to be awoken from his thoughts by Zed. The once bright sky was beginning to get dark. He Jumped up and quickly put on all his armor and clothing and belt and scimitars before saying a word to Zed.

*How was your rest Zed?* He asked turning around to face her. She seemed preety well to him.

<Good, how was the meeting?>

*It was good..we have to meet a man named jesseret and i have to meet a woman named sylvia to show me around this place and get me straight on the rules.*

<Seems preety nice of them>

He didn't answer but instead let go a great yawn and stretched. He was kinda tired and hungry but he still wanted to stay here and look at the stars. he lay down on his back and looked up. At the same time Zed lay beside him too.

*Maybe will meet someone else today who knows this place has alot of people and also i don't really like eating alone...by the way did you eat something?*

<I spotted a place to eat but im not hungry>

Zed(pronuced Zede (Zeel by rider)

Weapon Description (Temporery):: The Left hand scimitar is a a dark fire red which seems to capture sunlight and absorb it. The weapon usually gets very hot on warm days giving it the name Blazing Edge or Blazed. The other scimitar is lighet and reaches the color of a silverish blue. The blade seems to glow at times when light hits it at a certain way and might shine in the dark if it has been out in the daylight for enought time in the day light giving it the name Ceror which translates to a combination of the word light and ice. Both Scimitars are also a centimetar wider then normal scimitars.

Day one Early Evening

After seing no one in view Demetar jumped up and quickly stretched out. He decided that maybe a walk will be good. He started walking aimlessly around the green being followed by Zed. He was preety tired and had alot of things on his mind right now from the long day but his energy as always was at max. With a great leap he did a flip to warm up a bit. He looked at Zed which seemed that that nap was preety good for her and decided to maybe have a quick flight. Sensing what he thinking Zed got a bit lower and Demetar jumped onto his leather saddle. As Zed jumped to the air a serge of adrenaline woke Demetar up a bit. Zed seemed awoken more too and began flying faster and faster doing quick aerial movement across the sky. Demetar knew he was high enough for no one to see him and drew his scimitar into the air. With each movement Zed took Demetar moved the other way and twirled his scimitar as if killing a wraith. They did this for awhile and then Zed turned back and landed where she lifted off and Demetar jumped off and quickly seathed his blade. After Zed landed Demetar came up to the saddle pack and drew to pieces of mee both well done. He tossed one to Zed who cought it in her jaws and started bitting off his. They were abit cold but good enough to eat.

<Ow> Zed groaned.

*What?* Demetar didn't know what could of hurt Zed

He went up to his dragon and examined her. It seemed to him that Zed must have bit her inside of her mouth when and Idea struck him. He quickly pulled out his now empty waterskin and put it under the injured spot letting the small blood drops fall into the bottle. After the bleeding stoped Demetar recieved aquestioning feeling from Zed.

"I once read in dragon loor that Dragon lblood can make a weapon sometimes harder, lighter, and sharper. Perfect for a rnager" He answered her feeling.

He pulled out both his scimitars and layed them side by side before him.

<Or maybe it is just a myth> Zed said to him

*Maybe*

he wasn't sure what to do but he did know that two drops where enough. He pulled his right hand scimitar on his lap and dropped exactly two small drops. For awhile nothing happened but then the blade started glowingred like the blood and turned into the exact color of Zed's scales. They both watched in awe as the miracle happened. When the color vanished the simitar turned back to normal but Zed's blood disappeared. He looked closely atthe blade and noticed small jaged ends pointing from the end. With a small pokethe blade drew demetar's blood. As he looked at the flat side he noticed the image of Zed's head inscribed to the blade. Excitment rushed through Demetar and he did the same to the other. The dried blood of the barbarians was still there but the amazing blades looked stronger then ever. He stabed them both to the ground and was amazed at the sharpness of the weapons! After that he knew that the seathes would need to be re layered or the blades will be ripped through. He went back to the back and pulled out a large piece of leather wich he cut in the form of a scabbared (Scimitar seath). He beat the leather against the ground a bit to make it a bit more flexible and then took his seath and covered it. He did this to the other seath and then reseathed his improved scimitars back. What happened amazed Demetar. He looked back at Zed which was looking the same way. He remined standing there looking at the small watersking which held exactly three more drops. and he wanted that to stay like that. He stared out toward the now black horizon and wandered how well hes scimitars will now be able to cut. He would wait for next evening

Demetar was still amazed at the sharpness of the scimitars. He tried something else after that too. He spotted a rock close by. In a flash Demetar's scimitars were out and the rock was a wraith. Demetar took one step forward and then again in a flash the scimitars were flying through the air in in a second they whent right into the rock like it was butter. It took him awhile to actually understand what happened. He hurried to the scimitars. And then again pulled the scimitars out. He was now even more amazed. The black scimitars glowed a darkish purple and then back. He examined the scimitars for any damage but there was not even one scratch. He looked at the sharp jagged edges for some damage. He again found nothing!

Zed felt the feeling of amazment and that was a feeling that was rare to Demetar. <What have you found?>

Demetar was still startled and even in his mind it sounded uneven *N-nothing*

Zed was totaly amzed to. Can dragon blood really have such an effect or was it another connection between the blades the dragon and the rider?
<You might want to tell a person? Maybe M'ren or the Warrenlady?>

Demetar knew Zed was right but he didn't know if he could truly trust them but the he figured the warrenlady would be the best person to tell.
*Yes but before that we have to get something to show her the truth instead of just cutting something weak..maybe steal or iron from the forge in the town.

Zed lowered down and Demetar seathed his blades and jumped ontop. It took Zed a minute to get from there to the forge and back. Demetar holding two pieces of steal and a cleanly cut piece of steel wich he took from the forge on permission from the forge master who was also amazed when the scimitar cut through the metal like butter or a great sword cutting through wood. When Zed landed Demetar signaled her to stay and he ran off to the offce hopping that the warren lady might be there

Ok this thread is being closed as is all others...with the exception of the one in my office, the one in the lake and the one at the Stables! This is due to the fact that a time jump is about to take place...which means we will jump forward in time to the day of the hatching. So all posts started after the hatching post has been started, will be just that. Searchlings will then be joined to their new dragons...so all others will post as if they have their dragons or rather assume that. Those three threads that will stay open for the time being will remain as is...no one will assume the Searchlings have their dragons yet...it will be as if the Time Jump never affected those threads.
