I've decided that it is official that I have made the choice to accept the plan of having a way that it known... ahem... that members can win Monster Energy Drinks just by registering and posting on the forum!

When we will be doing a give away, I will announce it a Legacy (most of the time I will, it may become a regular thing), then I will draw the day before. Then on Wednesday the winner will recieve their prize.

Here's how you increase your odds:
1. Register - This earns at least 3 (probably 5) entries into the random generator.
2. Post - Each post earns you ANOTHER ENTRY! I have over 100 posts, if it wern't for the fact that I run this forum, I would proabbly win a lot!
3. Create an Introduction - You can get extra entries by making a post in the introductions forum about yourself. Need help? Check the announcment that says ~READ ME~ on ideas of what to post. I'll decided how many extra entries you will earn, depeding on quantity and quality.

Also, John and I have decided that we may give away better prizes such as Triple Play tickets or something. That would be pretty swait. After summer comes and I start working, I'll determine how far we will go. I'll see by how steady of money I have comming in then.

Oh, and If someone wins, I probably will leave them out of the contest for at least 3 months. We don't want our best posters to win a Monster every week

instead of putting all the entries into a random organizer thing, why don't we just pick the last one who registered by Wednesday. I think that that would be better. don't you???

Not really. We don't want people to wait, the point is to get people registered AND posting. Not only do I not think it is fair because people would wait until the last minute which doesn't make sense, but when we could do a radom one, and then also have it promote posts and other things we want users to do to get the forum hyped up. Thanks for sharing your idea though.

Oh next week for sure! It isn't a month wait for it. We announce it, and next week they get it. I'll have a name by next wednesday. However, I may be gone that day... we'll see.

I think that mabey in a few weeks we should do a free drink at the espresso bar... cause lots of people don't like monsters. We should switch back and forth every once in a while.

I agree with Mattie, we should switch off every week because we never know what will people will actually want.

I will probably try doing this idea Mattie. I do realize after askign a round that a lot of people DON'T like Mosnters. I personally enjoy them, but a free drin kthing would be better. I could ask Nick if I could purchase them. If we were lucky (but I wouldn't nag) he may give us a discount or something.

We should do all kinds of stuff, mabey some candy once in a while. Just to get a good variety so people will never know what to expect. And if anyone has any ideas for prizes they should post it here.

Welcome Brice. You don't have to post in this single topic, the idea is that you post everywhere. You also wont get entries for average posts, lol. You need to post significant stuff in other topics.

And by "This one is mine" John means that he is paying for it, not that he is going to win it, lol.

I believe that the free drink cards might cover monsters (monster/monstar? I don't know), don't tell anyone I told you, since I'm probably wrong.
But a free drink/candy card is much more practical.

That would be awesome. You know what would be really cool?!?!?! What if I asked Nick to print out personalized cards?!?!? Jake, if you want, you could try designing them, and then I'd ask Nick if I could pay him for each card I print out (or have him print them out and we buy from him, since they use the thick cards). It wouldn't be too inconvenient, that's why I think it would be good.
