There are so many to tell, so I will start simply:

Me and my three brothers were raised in a haunted house. There is nearly no end to the stories of paranormal activity. I'll select some of the best and post them here from time to time. You guys be sure and post your experiences, also.

The house that my brothers and I grew up in was basically built in two halves. The main part of the house was built in the late 1950's and the "newer" half of it was added onto the house several years later. The older half of the house was built on piers that are about 36" tall. There was a concrete foundation laid for the newer section of the house, but the house does not sit directly on it. It sits on piers that are about 30" tall. It creates a crawl space between the concrete slab and the bottom of the house that we have used in the past to hide valuables and things of the sort. The newer half of the house consists of a an area that used to be a large den but was walled in on one end to make a bedroom, a pantry/celler type room that drops all the way down to the concrete floor and gives secret access to the crawl space, a garage, and an apartment on the other side of the garage that has all of the things anyone would need to live independently of the rest of the house (fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, large sleeping/living area). Oddly, most , but not all, of the activity has happened in the "newer" portion of the house. Now that you have a visual, let's get on with it.

My bedroom was the one that was created in the newer half of the home that used to be the den. This is also the room where my grandmother passed away. I used to experience a lot of "bed shaking" in that room... not like a little tremor, but serious shaking where the bed could visibly be seen shaking. One night, this was happening so badly that it woke me from a dead sleep and I sat straight up in bed trying to figure out what was going on and still in a sleepy stupor. As my senses were coming to me and I realized what was happening (about 3 or 4 seconds) I felt the bed drop 12 to 6 inches to the floor. I then did my best impression of an Olympic long jumper (from the bed to the light switch) and flipped on the light. As I stood there trying to gather myself, my mother came into my room and scolded me for still being up and making banging noises when everyone was trying to sleep. Go figure - I was catching hell from both ends.

I was about 16 years old at the time.
