That's right horror fans the Bloodbath Board's very own William Pattison, Aka Eric Morse, is going to be a guest on Saturday February 23 at the Bay Area's own super comic, horror, sci fi convention, Wondercon...
I will be bumping elbows with the likes of J Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk TV series) , Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Warrington Gillette (Friday the 13th Part 2), Mr Lobo (Horror Host), Chase Masterson (Star Trek DS9), and Steve Cardenas (Red Ranger, Rocky, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers) and several more....
So, if you are planning to go and happen to see me there please feel free to say "Hi" and get a free autograph from me....
I'll post some pics later on after the convention... _________________ T.T.F.N.

Anyone who has gone to a major Sci Fi, Horror, or Comic book convention know they are a case study of both structure and chaos. But, for those of you who haven't imagine mice in a huge maze. Some of the mice go with the flow while others go in opposition and literally climb over the other mice because they want to go in the opposite direction. Putting myself in the role of one of the mice that decided to go in the opposite direction is how I felt as I tried to navigate the chaos of living bodies in the halls of Mocone Center on Saturday February 23.
I had gone to WonderCon, the Bay Area's #1 Comic, Sci Fi, and Horror convention, not only as one of the multitude but also as a published horror author in my own rights. Thus, as a distinguishing factor I had “Eric Morse, F13 YA Novel Author” written on my convention badge. This was in the hope that some fans of my books or the MOTHER'S DAY film might note my badge and come up to me and decide to honor me with a hello.
Originally, when I planned to attend this convention I thought of having special cards printed up, with my “Jolly Jason” hockey mask and crossed machete logo and Eric and Morse printed to either side of the logo in burgundy F13 font, for autograph opportunities. Unfortunately, the printshop owner who was supposed to print up a hundred of these cards dropped the ball and I had to go to the convention with a sharpy and a prayer that any fan who wanted a signature might have something for me to actually sign. Luckily for me the few fans that actually honored me with their patronage had me sign the covers of their WonderCon programs.
But, besides being at the convention to promote myself, and my works, I went to take part in a personal addiction of mine, the acquisition of movie and TV memorabilia. Though many people go to conventions with no set goals in this regard, I had definite items I was hoping to find and acquire at this convention. One item was a 25th Aniversary Friday the 13th dioramma set (The one with Mrs. Voorhees, the sack headed Jason, and the Mrs. Voorhees shrine from F13 Part 2). Also, I was looking for a limited edition Doctor Who two figure regeneration set (featuring special edition figures of the nineth and tenth Doctor Whos). I'm happy to report that I succeeded in both cases. I managed not only to get both items, but I got them at a greatly reduced price (saving about $20 all together) thanks to my well honed convention bargaining skills.
And, of course, I came to the convention to rub elbows with celebrities and friends. One of those celebrities (at least to F13 fans) was Warrington Gillette, the actor who played the revealed Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 2. Warrington was a very nice person and I was surprised to find out is a fan of my books. I gave him an autograph, luckily he had an extra napkin from his lunch. I didn't ask him for his, since he was charging for his and I really prefer meeting the person over getting their signature anytime. Also I met and talked briefly with Lauren Marie Taylor, who played Jenny in F13 part 2. Also, I had the great honor if meeting Noel Neill, who played the second Lois Lane in The Adventures of Superman. Among the old friends I met was Herbert Jefferson Jr (known to Battlestar Galactica fans as the ORIGINAL Boomer). Also I talked and had a picture taken with my My Space buddy Mr. Lobo, horror host of Cinema Insomia. As well, I also got to talk to my old friend John Stanley, the second host of the Bay Area's own classic horror show, Creature Features. John and I talked mostly about our affection for the late host of Creature Features (and Captain Cosmic and Robot 2T2) Bob Wilkins. Also, I made a new special friend when I ran into Fat Momma (from the reality series WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO). Momma is doing wonderfully and has her own comic book published through the independent comic publisher John's Comics. You can check her out at www.Fatmomma.tv, please show her the love.
Unfortunately, I have to report that I was ony able to get a few pictures to document my trip to WonderCon. This is because for some reason my camera was draining batteries really fast, and I ended up using up all my batteries. But my business partner and I got a number of shots for your viewing pleasure.....And here they are.
Here I am with a Dalek from Doctor Who...
Hee I am with my My Space friend horror host Mr. Lobo...
Here I am with my old friend Herbert Jefferson Jr (The original Boomer from Battlestar Galactica)...
Here is one of the special guests at the convention, the creator of Babylon 5 J Michael Straczynski ....
In closing, I have to say that I had a wonderful time and I hope I can come to another convention and meet more of my fans....Thank You... _________________ T.T.F.N.
