This is not a joke, nor some sort of publicity stunt. Horror hostess Dark Spider has disappeared without a trace. And her friends are concerned.
It began almost a month ago. Spider had had an extras gig in a zombie film so she had her husband, Ruben Beltran, host her popular BlogTV show. The next day she sent out My Space comments to some of her close friends apologizing for not being able to host the show the night before, but assuring her friends that she'd be hosting the next Monday and was going to start a major zombie makeup contest on her show...
That was four weeks ago and there hasn't been a show since. Also, none of her friends that I've talk to have heard from her or seen her. Her friend Shayna has informed me that she has tried to call Spider on the phone over the last three weeks and hasn't gotten an answer. Also, we know someone accessed Spider's My Space on April 6th, but of course we can't ascertain who exactly.
We also know that Ruben Beltran talked to SCREAMTV.com about the zombie contest in late March, but hasn't gotten back to them since, which has them wondering what's going on as well.
So, we, the friends of Dark Spider, ask the horror community for any help they can give.
We know Spider sometimes performs at a club called “Spirit” in Brooklyn, in actually the same building as the Halloween attraction Blood Manor. So, if anyone knows someone who frequents that club they might be of some help. Spider is known at the club by her real name of Maddy.
Or if you frequent some of the chats or messageboards Spider goes to. Any info might be of help.

Now that we have reached the three month period my associates and I are planning a pictorial tribute to Dark Spider. If anyone on this board is a Dark Spider fan and would like to be added to the tribute in the friend section. I will be setting up the tribute on Tuesday so you need to get in touch with me pretty fast....
I and my associates have finally been able to find out what happened to Dark Spider. Unfortunately, due to the personal nature of what we've found I can't go into much detail. What I can tell you is that Spider is very much alive and in good health. She has run into some legal problems that are preventing her from continuing her online persona as Dark Spider at this time. No, if you are wondering, this has nothing to do with copyright infringments or anything associated with that. What has happened is that her life outside horror and the internet has clashed with her life as a horror hostess with unfortunate real world results. Due to these problems my associates and I can only assume that she has gotten legal advice, and that that advisor has instructed her to stay incommuniquato, including with her friends and business associates.
We can only hope that once these problems are resolved that Mandy will come back to us in one form of another. Unfortunately I sincerely doubt Dark Spider will be making an appearance in the near future if ever... _________________ T.T.F.N.
