Hey F13 fans,

I need your help. On June 13th 2009, I, along with dozens of other people, will have our heads shaved for charity. The charity is The St Baldrick's Foundation. St Baldrick's gives support and assistance to families dealing with children suffering with cancer.
The event, which is being sponsored by my friends at The Daily Boost coffee bar, will feature a children's carnival with live entertainment, food, coffee drinks, face painting, and, of course, head shaving.
In my case, I will be facing a personal fear of losing my hair. Premature hair loss runs in my family. But, I am willing to face this fear for the sake of these unfortunate children. For me the hair will grow back, but this might not be the case with some of these children.
As author of the Camp Crystal Lake novels I'm doing this as a representative not only of the F13 community, but also as a representative of the horror community in general. With that in mind, I need your help. Before the event, which will take place at Courthouse Square in Redwood City, California, I need to acquire over $1,000 dollars in sponsorship donations made in my name for St Baldrick's. So, I put this to you....I think we, in the horror community, can do better than that....I think we can blow the top off this thing for these poor kids. So, I come to you and challenge the F13 and horror community to sponsor me as I lose my crowning glory for the cause of cancer research and support for families with kids dealing with cancer....which is a real horror....
Also, for those of you who can attend, if you go to The Daily Boost during the event and say you are a supporter of Eric Morse you will receive $1 off the purchase of an Eric Morse Mocha drink....
