First off, let me say I had a great weakend, except for the sunburn. My question is, I would like to know who the DJ was that played for a half hour on the main stage saturday night. He started around 1:00 pm and rocked that shit! I was really dissapionted he only played for such a short amount of time. If it helps he had long hair, a beard and some kind of funky fishin hat goin on? |

you might be talking about atomic babies. In the center of the stage, the most visible guy in the group had a long beard, a fishing hat and glasses. In my state of mind he looked kind of Amish. They were playing really spacy live techno. Had sort of a ninjatune feel in parts. I watched these guys for about 45 mins. between 1:00 and 2:00 Sat. night. / Sun. morning. If you had gone closer to the stage you would have noticed two other guys on synths, also. The intro to their set was absolutely beautiful and deeply atmospheric dark, hypnotic. The most consistent set that I saw all weekend. |

Atomic Babies are just the "two other guys w/ the synths." The "Amish" guy was just settin' up equipment and shit...

That guy helping out and spinning records was DJ Jordan from California . He is a very good friend of the Ohio scene. Might I say he was rockin it !

DJ Jordan is not a nice person at all. He is cocky, arrogant and disrespectful to women. He treated one of the main artists very rudely at the party Saturday night and he should be ashamed of himself. He shouldn't be allowed to run stages, he has zero people skills and isn't the smartest technologically either. Just thought I'd pass that info along |

Someday.. All DJ's will be happy to even play a records.. I>E> Digital world today.
Someday.. Those that grace the stage who are New on the traveling circuit and yes even if someone hase been doing it 10 years will all realize that someone Like Boo Williams got only and Hour and he's been doin it 25 years.
Someday.. all with a voice will claim this is who I am.. This is why I am happy or unhappy and everyone will know at least nothing is to hide..
Yes I was the person in charge of the line up Sat NIGHT..
And yes I had to make very tough choices..
A GUY who rocks it Alex Hill drove so many hous to play and did not even get to play main stage!
Why must some one be-little anyone.. When they themsleves got to rockit on a main stage at FAMILY AFFAIR..I am sorry you only got 50 minutes instead of 1HR.
TO ME.. I am honored and always will be to ever share music.. oh yeah and I got to play 30 min after traveling 2500 miles...
Who cares.. Life is a gift and every minute is special..
THANK YOU TO ALL for coming and sharring our-selves, dancing, talking and just being nice to eachother for a weekend in the trees..

I couldn't agree more. Despite all the mishaps...It was a NICE weekend. People in general were NICE. Everyone got along. There was music ALL weekend. I don't understand why everyone has to find a reason to complain. This is why we DON'T have parties. Be happy for what was provided for you. And, be thankful for all who put effort and hard work into it.
