family affair 6 forum Greetings and Love, This humble space is meant to plant the seed for the return of one of the underground communities most Beloved Events...FAMILY AFFAIR.
I have to say that while I have quite a few amazing memories from the FA parties, one that will always stand out is Dubtribe's set at the 3rd FA.
It was 6 in the morning and things were getting a bit intense for me and I thought I was about freak out when all of the sudden my Party Fairy (Brandon Balos) took me aside and said I looked like my brain was about to pop out of my eyes (at least that is what I heard him say at the time) He gave me water and then made me concentrate on the music. I did and the next thing I knew, I was transported into another world where everything was "all good" and this is a moment that I will never forget as long as I live!

P.S. This was when I also bumped into Mr. Joeism who at the time was walking around in circles creating a circle in the dirt. When asked what he was doing he simply responded "I am traveling to another dimension."
Aaaaahhhh, yes, that WAS a memorable set!! I remember being amazed at how uplifting and positive Dubtribe's lyrics were, and their music made me dance like crazy!
How awsome if Dubtribe's Sunshine can make it out to play at this FA!! That part of the circle will be complete.
I wonder if the Brandon you mentioned is the same Brandon (from Columbus), and crew, that I met that year and was hanging out with during Dubtribe's set? If so, what a small world.
I was probably living in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the time, or maybe Kansas City, in case anyone remembers meeting me that night.
