Please don't use DIY as an excuse for this event.
The people that paid to go didn't setup the two main sound systems facing each other causing the sound to clash.
The party kids didn't say there would be showers only to find out there weren't any or advertise DJs that never played.
Give me a break man, this has nothing to do with DIY.

Hey, I don't know which party you were at, but I didn't see the two main sound systems facing each other. They were actually facing away from each other.
I had a great time. Showers and more shade would've been nice, of course.
The sound from the "dome" and the "main" table were trainwrecking each other. Unless you were right in front of them. Maybe "facing each other" was an exaggeration."
Coming from the other family affairs I feel the vibe was lost on this one.
