A wee birdie has jist telt me that Penicuik Citizens'Advice Bureau scored 100% in some kind of quality control, efficiency, audit kind o' thingy run by them up above whit diz quality control, efficiency audit thingies concerning the runnin' o' the place and the quality o' the advice gi'en oot.
As far as I can tell, 100% - while no' as guid as 200% - is the best possible ye can get, an' pretty unique for ony CAB in Scoatlan'. An' it's a' doon tae local volunteer numpties jist tryin' tae dae thur bit.
A hunner purssent! No' bad goin', eh!

Have to admit I've never been in the place myself, although I have steered one or two potential customers in their direction.

Nothing to do with the CAB (well done them BTW), but when grannie was three sheets to the wind and someone asked her how she was she would say "A Hunner Purssent" .

But noo the Advertisers has done a wee write-up o' the story.
D'ye suppose the Advertiser's maybe spyin' oan us?...... Nah, it cuidnae be. Naebdie fae a quality paper like the Advertiser wid jine this forum.
Come tae think o' it though, it wiz sum burd ca'ed Janet Wasp or Bee or Hornet or some kind o' thing.
Wasps.... insects.... flies...... Maybe she's firefly on the quiet.
Anyways, firefly, it wiz guid o' ye tae gie Penicuik CAB a wee public pat oan the back. |

He'd have been much more interested in giving Ms Waspie-Waist a private pat on the bum!
