Just of the cuff but did you perchance press PREVIEW instead of SUBMIT.
I have spent ages typing out a reply full of quotes, researched links etc only to press preview then close the browser and you look at that thread a day later and your post isn't there.

Sorry, Mike - I wish the difference between the buttons was more obvious!
We don't normally have a "missing post" problem here (she says with all four paws crossed) but now and again other people have had the same problem when previewing. I've done it myself, and it can be a little annoying.
Preview first - Submit second. |

By the way, for those who don't know - mikeart runs a website and forum for surfers of more mature years, over-fifties I think it is. If you're looking for the games or sweets or TV programmes of your childhood, you may well find them mentioned there.
