Well, Scott (my “father”) has decided to try and ground me off chat forever, no exaggeration.
My mother and I will try to remedy this as soon as possible (which may not be for a long while), but if we fail, I’m going to try to get them “divorced” before they marry, because this is just too unreasonable and is going too far.
In the meantime, Adam is to be proclaimed a new member of staff chat. VG or Wolfy, please give him access 300.

The most me or wolfy can give him is 299 access because we both have 300 access, and being that users can't give others the same amount of as their own or higher access, it has to be lower by at least 1 access point. In order too give other 300 access, me and wolfy would need to have more than 300 access.
By the way, why does your "father", Scott, want to ground you off of chat forever?

Because he hates chatrooms. He tries to give other “reasons”, but in the end, the whole reason is the “I’m cold, put on a sweater” mentality.

Hmmm, while most of the time I would agree with the "father" here (because you should always respect and be submissive to the man in power) I have to take Joat's side, but actually, aren't you going to move out soon? (you know, graduate, go to college, all that crap). You'll start your own life, and be able to be on as much as you want to, outside of work and others, The only thing I suggest at all, is while trying to be most repective of him and try to get him to the point where, even if you can't be on all the time, you can at least be on every few days (or every other day), I'll be willing to bet he'll allow you on every other day if you act adult about it (Not the sickening kind of adult) and approach him in a mannered, non-whining/angered tone even if you hate him, show him that you'll like him, and respect him anways! all i has to say on teh topix.

Wolfy, he isn’t the reasonable type, and he doesn’t listen to me at all when it comes to negotiations, no matter how adult I am about it. Also, I will be graduating in the spring of 2009. Do you really want to wait that long?
And Lukey, it is through my mother that I am already trying to gain a foothold. However, she seems to be waiting for Scott to break down and give it back, which will be never.
And as for the chat thing, Lukey, I made you an admin on a solely tech-based basis. I don’t think your area are best suited in what I need for chat.

I raised Adam's access like you said to do to 299 yesterday or the night before. I forgot when I did it, but I know it was 1 of those 2 choices.

Jeez, that's harsh. And unreasonable. Yeah... The only thing I can advise is to try what Kyzak did: (shrunk in case of nosy "father"s) Wait until he's out of the house / way on the other side, and go on chat anyways. Ahem... anyway, back to business... what will this do about the chat RPs where your characters were active (which pretty much means all of them)?
