Gold: You gain it for posting, and can use it to buy things from the shop.
Hearts (HP): This forum’s method of discipline. Lose them all, and you are banned temporarily.
The other things, you don’t need to worry about for now.

You cannot transfer, sorry. You can put that as your in-sig inventory, but it will have no effect as far as forums go.
Go to Joat’s Trinket Tower, in the shops section, to see what you can buy that will have an effect on your experience in the forums (name change, custom title, et cetera). Though at the moment, you probably cannot buy anything from there.
Honestly, you could probably be perfectly fine just ignoring the shop mod, at least until you get more acquainted with the board.

The Sandbox is probably the loosest place here. That, and Randoma. But I suggest Sandbox, to start. That one’s more easy to just enter anytime.
