|
|
Alright, guys! This one’s a big one! Up until now, the Fire Wolves Club has been virtually unknown. But now, we’re going to change that, aren’t we? Not only will this help boost our popularity, but it may also determine whether I’ll be able to get back on chat anytime soon. Since I know full-well that Rome wasn’t built in a day, and that this challenge may take some time to do, I will give a large time-frame. But don’t procrastinate, for the sooner this challenge is done, the sooner I might be able to get back on chat.
And if you ever think that you can’t fulfill this challenge… think again! You have the power.
Your Mission
Anyone (single or group)
Do something big for the community. I mean something that they’ll notice. If you can’t do it alone, gather some friends. If you can’t think of something, I suggest:
- A big cleanup of a local public area. Organize a group and make it an event (perhaps even put up some flyers for it). Unfortunately, if you’re in the middle of a chilly winter, like I am, this may not be practical unless you choose an indoor setting.
- Talk to a non-profit organization and help them with their fundraising or other related activities. Perhaps you can speak with your principal/boss and have it become a school-wide/job-wide effort.
- Help improve your local school/park/library/etc. Of course, you should obviously make arrangements with the owner of whatever establishment/area you wish to improve before actually making improvements.
These are but three of the infinite possibilities for what you can do. So, get out there and get noticed for doing good!
The Deadline
January 20, inclusive
The Reward
- Completion (must provide some manner of proof): 2000G
- Getting in an informal newspaper/magazine for your deeds (school newspaper, for example): 6500G
- Getting in an official newspaper/magazine for your deeds: 25,000G and 1 Badge
- Getting on TV for your deeds (directly or just being told about): 27,500G and 1 Badge
- Getting on the radio for your deeds (directly or just being told about): 22,500G and 1 Badge
- Getting on a blog or other online community site: 6000G
- Getting on a news site: 25,000G and 1 Badge
- Any other media that I haven’t thought of will be rewarded as appropriate.
A few amendments to these, though. First, if the media you provide tells of your deeds, but does not mention the Fire Wolves anywhere within, the reward for that media will be halved, and no badge awarded. Also, these rewards do stack (unless the newspaper and news site you provide are the same company; for example, being published on Newspaper ABC and on newspaperabc.com will not stack with each-other).

Now that's gonna be hard! I live in a rather big city, so unless I kill someone after I do it, I don't think I'll make the news!
Question: Could you define "blog or other online community site"? _________________ Benjamin Franklin once said,"There is nothing to fear, but fear itself"

A blog is a thing where people post about a certain something as it happens. Some people make them about themselves.
As for "other online community site" I'm not quite sure. |
