Based on Kyzak’s RP series, Passing of a World. Some of the original text is used.
Plot
“The Year was 3,000. The world had taken a gigantic leap in technology. However.. some people opposed this future. Those people plotted the death of everything on earth. As they thought they could start a new order, a better one then the humans could ever create. but the government had learned of this, as well as the beings known As Zato. Thus they gathered and sent an army to attack the Zato's base, But failed. The Zato race succeeded In the destruction of the humans, and everything they had built.
Few survived this destruction, but it was too late. The world had lost all but the most basic technology, and monsters infested the land.” - Kyzak

At character creation, you get 15 stat points. At level 1, you cannot spend more than 10 on any single stat. Each level after, this cap increases by 5. This cap does not apply to modified stats, only the base ones.
The stats themselves are listed later on.
Modified Stats
This is where you list your stats after adding in all the bonuses from equipment and the like.
Skills
At level one, You get five custom abilities, as long as It's not too powerful (I.E: an ability at level 1 doing 200 damage). Please list your starting abilities in a separate sentence when posting your character. Powerful skills must have a warm-up or cool-down period, a number of rounds during which your character may do nothing but wait (or, if it is the warm-up period, cancel the skill).
Inventory
You start out with nothing. Worthless trinkets are allowed, but nothing else.

Again, none.

Stats
STRength: This stat will increase damage by 2/2 (min/max) for every one point.
VITality: Every one vitality point you have nets you twenty health.
DEXterity: During every post, you to attack three times (each of these attacks are known as rounds, which can also be used for skills). For every 10 points of DEX, this number is increased by 1.
INTelligence: Every point of this Increases magical attacks by 2/2 (min-max). This also applies to anything magical (Magic Weapons, enchantments, ETC.)
Armor Class: Unique to Legends Past, the value of this stat is subtracted from the amount of damage you take from an enemy.

Battle System
In the old battle system, attacks were made along with your own. In this battle system, I shall make attacks to your character as they are due, so you do not need to worry about enemy attacks. Just make your own move in your own post. _________________

Change Dragon’s Blood to -5% per 1 turn. Add at least a 2-turn cooldown to Slash Blast. And please add formatting. Reading that bio is painful to one’s eyes.

Weapon And Magic Mechanical Interface
History of the WAMMI
Long before the Zato, while technology was still at its peak, men created a great achievement: the WAMMIs. These devices could synchronize with the user’s mind and allow them to perform various functions.
The WAMMI Today
WAMMI devices are rare and those whose minds are capable of synchronizing with a WAMMI are even rarer. To have and be able to use a WAMMI is considered a rare gift indeed.
WAMMIs are still being found in ruins all around the world. These devices sell for a fairly high price (though not too high, due to the very narrow market). The same facts apply to the modules that are required for a WAMMI to function.
WAMMI Structure
The WAMMI itself is composed of several parts.
A lens over the user’s right eye, which must have a related module to be of any use.
The collar, which is the central container for the magic and technology that is the WAMMI. The collar has five slots in it where modules may be inserted.
The left and right gloves, which must have a related module to be of any use. The left glove is for more general uses while the right glove is for weapons conjured by a module. These roles are reversed for those who are left-handed.
The backpack, which stores pain energy. To fill this pack up, one must inflict or take damage. This pack will empty itself whenever the user sleeps. It may store up to 50PP (Pain Points) at a time. In addition to pain energy, this backpack stores up any ammo required for gun- or bow-related functions.
A WAMMI will shrink or grow to fit the wielder. A WAMMI wil function normally as long as the collar is attached, but functions will not work if the equipment that is related to that function is not equipped.
Modules
Modules reseble hollow semi-spherical shells of metal. Inside, a combination of technology and magic allows the module to do its function.
Some modules require PP to function.
The Double-WAMMI
It is also fabled that there is a legendary Double-WAMMI somewhere in the world, which allows for ten slots instead of the usual five, as well as being able to carry up to 100PP. No WAMMI has been found or replicated that has that type of capacity. |

“Yes,” Lift said truthfully, but nonetheless, he put the collar on. It shrunk to fit his neck. Was it working? He felt… strange.
“Whoa… bugger… Lift, look! Things are getting hairy! Literally!” Rosetta said.
Lift looked at his own hands to find that Rosetta is correct. His hands were rapidly growing white hair! No, not hair… but fur. His forearms, too, were growing white fur. From that point back, it was black.
“Ah, man. I put in the polymorph potion by mistake!” Rosetta cried out.
“What am I turning into?” I ask hastily.
“By my calculations, a dog,” Rosetta answers.
The change was rapid. At the end of the transformation, Lift was still standing on two feet, but otherwise, he was a small dog. His fur was black except for the white on his paws and belly. “How long is this going to last?” Lift asked.
Rosetta gave a nervous laugh.
Lift paled under his new fur. “Hoboy… I don’t like the sound of that.”
“Normally, it would last only a small while, but considering that it was not just drank, but injected directly into your bloodstream…”
“It’s permanent, isn’t…?” Lift began. But then, suddenly, he was overcome with a sensation of weakness throughout his body. He stumbled a bit, struggling to keep his footing.
His vision faded and was replaced with static. It felt like his brain was being prickled. The static was replaced with solid dark green. On that solid green, some white text appeared: “SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE”
And then the green and the text faded to black. He could feel nothing, could think nothing. So this was what it was like… to pass out.
“Lift, Lift, wake up! Oh, what have I done? Lift! Lift!” Rosetta exclaimed. But it was to no avail. Lift did not stir.
She picked Lift up in her arms. “Oh Lift, what have I done? Because of one failed potion. What could have happened? I…”
But then, Lift began to stir. “R… Rosetta?” he asked, not yet opening his eyes.
“Are you okay? Did you see a white light?”
“No, I saw… green.”
Rosetta arched an eyebrow. “The hell? Man, heaven has a sick sense of humor.”
Lift opened his eyes. The weakness from earlier was starting to fade. “No, it’s not that. I… I synchronized.”
“Huh? But I put in the wrong potion. That must mean it was… it was all you. You have the Gift.” |

Be warned about your weapon choice, Raven. There is no such thing as an enchanted gun. With WAMMIs, enchantments are inherent, but with mechanical guns, not so much.
Also note that guns are as rare as WAMMIs, but more widely sought out (since anyone can use a gun). Since they are considered prized artifacts, they will not be easy to find.
Besides, while I added a fantasy element to the WAMMI (synchronizing with the mind, being partially powered by magic), guns are just… guns. They don’t really fit the style very well. I’ll allow it, but I won’t like it very much. Maybe if you added a more fantasy element to your guns, I would feel better about it. I, personally, would rather you simply choose a bow to use, instead. It feels like you’re trying to steal my thunder. _________________

AGI, DEX, they’re kinda synonymous terms to me…
I said 5% per 1 turn, not 3. Also, Dragon’s blood seems a bit unclear. Earlier, I thought the %HP per turn was a penalty, not a boost. So, how does it work? _________________

Each turn, untill I'm down to 40% HP, I gain power per %age of HP lost. (THe move may also be called Dragons rage.) Going to edit the %age thingy now... dangit, I needed it at 15% per 3 turns, because thats the only way I can figure the damage right.

Accessory: A necklace with an imprint of the moon made with some unknown material. (+2 Intelligence, rises by one every level)

Is the weapon damage the modified or the base?
I would suggest halving your warm-up/cool-down periods to avoid being an underpowered character. _________________

Fire Breath, The Dragoon taps into his Dragon Blood, using it to breath a pillar of flame. 3 Turn Warm up, 4 Turn Cooldown. Deals 20-30 Dmg and hits multiple targets, small chance to enflame the enemy, 5 Dmg each turn for 3 turns.
Taunt, A basic protection technique to protect other members of the party, all nearby enemies are enraged and attack the user. Instant Cast. 4 Turn Cooldown.
Retribution Aura, a spell taught to him by his brother, it causes an aura of damage to appear around the user, causing 5 damage each time the user is attacked to the attacker. 2 Turn Warmup.
Call to Arms, a move that increases the entire parties' attack to increase by +3. Lasts for 3 turns. Cooldown 10 Turns

Backstory: Samuel was a little boy when he was orphaned. He was traumitized seeing his parents die. A priest and his wife and son adopted him. As he grew older he left to study at the Guild of Dragoons, when they found out he had Dragon Blood within him. Samuel returned home after his training to find it was destroyed. His father and mother were slain within the chapel. He ran about the village searching for his brother. He was nowhere to be seen. A few years later he was reunited with his brother by coincidence, after adventuring together for a few years, they decided to go their seperate ways. _________________ Conjurer

Samuel was atop a building watching the sky when the explosion happend. He leaped through the air across the buildings to the scene. "Ah a little excitement to this bland town." Samuel laughed cheerfully. He hadnt had something like this happen before in a long time. _________________ Conjurer
