Less than a month ago, I started High School as a Freshman. I've been doing well so far, but I urge anyone who's been to high school (Joat, I'm looking at you...) to give me tips as to anything I should know about high school that didn't apply as much in Middle School.
Also, I won't mention what I already understand, because I also intend for this thread to serve as a guide for people who haven't gotten to high school yet, so as to help them be prepared for what's to come.

Watch out for more homework. Also, there is a good possibility that there might be several fights within your school through-out the year. Now, this can vary from school to school, but pretty much expect at least half of the school's students to be involved in a relationship.
Just so you know, I graduated High School this past June 24, & today is September 19.

I was only with my girlfriend for about 4-5 months before she went back with her ex, which I'm currently single right now, but anyway, Ice Wolf's right, don't get a girlfriend.

I can't say for certain, since she hasn't even said anything about it, not even to Ruby, another best friend of ours who we usually talk with. Ruby thinks she left me for her ex, & by going with whatever info we managed to gather, I got to agree with her.

Don't want friends, don't want a girlfriend, so that information is kind of useless to me -- I usually don't go out of my way to make friends, I'm sort of an antisocial person anyway. I've already had a taste of the homeworkalanch... My teachers are okay.
Personally, I tend to hate people that I meet in person. 90% of my peers account for 10% of the total maturity of my classes.
Not to mention, I have very high standards when it comes to friends. First impressions are unbelievably important to me, and I generally don't interact with random people in the hallways. Not to mention I can't remember names until I hear them, about... 12 or 13... thousand... times. Not to mention, I overuse the phrase "Not to mention" way too much.

Lol! Well, friends arn't everything, but sitting aone in the corner of the cafetaria isn't exactly good either. As long as you have some friends that are actually your real, true friends, than you'll be fine.
