My friend found this song right? Its an urban myth that it inspired hundreds of suicides. He told his friend about it and we think he might've killed himself. We keep calling his house and his parents arent home. Theyre at an open house thing. We dont get an answer...

Well, this is quite a serious situation. Due to a dream I once had (where my dog died) I at least sorta know how horrible the thought of losing a good friend can be.

Just don’t give up hope. Your friend is very likely still alive and well. After all, there were only about a hundred such suicides out of millions, perhaps billions of listeners. If your friend wasn’t already having suicidal thoughts, he’s probably quite safe from any influence the song might have.

I miss my MapleStory friends(MapleStory is a mmorpg if you don't know). They were so many...it's not real life, but the people are real, right? I feel lonely playing without them. At least I got some of them. But if I had like 30-35 friends, now I have around 3 or 4. No, I don't think they have left me. They probably just quit Maple or are taking a break. A big one. But I doubt that. It's not as fun now. And on top of that Maple Story is a part of my life Sad

I need consoling and counseling. Three things have been bothering me recently.

A few weeks ago, the first thing happened.
About 1 week ago, the second thing happened.
Yesterday night, the third thing happened.

The first thing is, my great grandmother died at the age of 99. The thing is, I wasn't really devastated, I just didn't know how to feel. But now, I'm starting to feel like it was some kind of warning, that the worst was coming, that my life was about to go straight down the toilet.

The second thing is, I didn't do too well with completing all my schoolwork for the last school quarter. Not that big a deal compared to the death of a family member, even a distant one, but grades are sort of a big deal for me, and without them, school would be pretty much nothing to me.

However, the third and final thing is the biggest of them all.

Last night, while I was "sleeping" (by which, I mean, pretending to sleep while munching on candy and being quiet so my dad won't know I'm awake), my dad came home. I guess he saw a letter on the table. He talked to mom about it -- I guess what the letter was is it was a letter from some guy saying that mom was cheating on dad. So anyway, dad talked to mom, and mom denied that she was cheating. She said that the guy who wrote the letter was an old boyfriend of another friend of hers. Mom visited Myspace, and he had asked to be a Myspace friend. I guess before that, she chatted with him online, and somewhere along the line, he had gotten her number. Anyway, mom denied his offer.

To break it down, there are two points of view:

Mom: She admits that she did give him her number. She doesn't really know why she did it. She says that she was not cheating on dad.

Dad: He argues that giving someone your phone number is basically asking for a relationship. He says that two different people, both men, have called her cell phone, and I guess from both people, he heard that mom was cheating on him with her supervisor at work.

Anyway, that last problem will probably go away on its own, but I'm kind of scared. Just in case it doesn't go away, what should I do if this keeps up? Since in both points of view, mom appears to be at fault, the best idea would be to confront her, which is also in my best interest since she'd have less of a chance of grounding me both in the "go to your room" and the "smash head into ground" sense than dad.

If you actually read that whole thing, thank you, and I appreciate any consolation and/or advice.

I'm 12, my parents broke up.

This is almost making me cry writing this, I feel so sorry for you.

Let me tell you my story now:

My mum, she always goes on this chat website. She meet this guy, Peter is his name, he's from England. They became good friends online.

And... mum... had a new boyfriend, she broke up with dad, not knowing.

It was sad, I cried and cried that day.

Then they got back together, lasted a week.

Out again, and this time for good... I didn't cry this time, not that day at least. I got depressed, I wanted to kill myself. The best thing is... don't give up if they break up, you still will probally see each one of them, just one more then the other.
