Kar'Tal
Age 39, Biologically equivalent to a 14-year-old human.
Species: Elf

Personality
An intelligent young person, who is somewhat naïve to the true nature of people and the world. He is loyal to his friends, and is willing to defend his friends when necessary. He sometimes has a very short temper.

Appearance
A youthful boy with dark brown hair and somewhat tanned skin. He is often seen wearing a red traveler's cloak like a cape. He has blue eyes and a skinny, frail build. He is short for his age.

Important Items
Kar'Tal wears elven-made, enchanted clothing which makes him resistant to extreme temperatures. It also repels dirt with small effect, not resistant powerful earth-based attacks much, but prevents him from having to wash his clothes. He also has an amulet which allows him to communicate with other species who do not speak Elven. This amulet causes all his speech to be translated into the creature's natural language, and all speech from other creatures to be converted to Elven when Kar'Tal hears it.

Specialties
Kar'Tal has very good abilities in elemental magic, and can use minor healing and support spells. He also knows a few "secret" spells that most humans are unable to learn, due to his being an elf.
