Since the last version was obliterated, we are officially resetting the game. New members are allowed to come in at any time. The rules of the game will be explained as we go along. I will start.

First, I create my character. The stats start at 4 points each, then 4 points may be allocated to those stats. The three stats are Attack, Defense, and Stamina. Stamina is then multiplied by five and becomes your maximum HP.

My character.

ATK: 5
DEF: 6
STA: 5
HP: 25
EXP: 0/25
EXP Range: 5-55

Now, the EXP needed to level up (and we all share EXP and level up at the same time) is 25 times your current level times the number of players.

EXP Range determines which monsters you may fight. If a monster is worth more EXP than your maximum number, it is discarded and you draw again. If it is less than the minimum number, it is discarded and you draw again. EXP range is dependant on the number and level of the players.

Now we’re all set. I’ll draw first. If my first card is a monster, it is discarded.



Since this is a monster, it is destroyed. Crud. Since it was auto-destroyed, we do not get EXP for it. This is the end of my turn. At the end of every turn, that person regains 1/5 of their HP, not that it helps me now.

Now, about weapons. You may have one weapon equipped at a time to gain their effects for as long as you have it equipped. You may equip or unequip a weapon at any time during your turn (except during combat).

Also, the EXP and EXP range have changed, because there are now two people in the game. The new values are:

EXP: 0/50
EXP Range: 10-60

Whew. Good thing this is out of our EXP range.

Anyway, note that this monster does not have an ATK. Instead, it has an EMP rating. That means that whenever it is hit, the person who dealt the damage takes damage equal to the EMP value, DEF rating nonwithstanding. In short, if we had to go up against this monster, one of us would be taken out the first time one of us hit it.

Since it is out of my EXP range, I send this card to the bottom of the deck and draw again.



Ooh, nice. I can call this in combat and it will defend me until it is destroyed. Problem is, it is destroyed after combat if it is still up at the time, so I must use it wisely, ‘cause it’s a one-shot deal.

Combat now begins, starting with the turn of the person who drew the card (me). I attack. I roll a six. Critical hit!

The formula of damage dealt in a critical hit (roll of 6) is your attack multiplied by four thirds (rounded down) and lowered by the enemy defense. Negative results do not result in healing.

The formula for a normal hit (3-5) is like that, but not multiplied by four thirds.

I deal 7 damage, leaving the Wimp with 13/20HP.

Your Round

Unlike turns, you do not draw a card at the beginning of a combat round.

No, no. Each stat starts at 4 points, then you get 4 more points to distribut to those stats as you wish.

Ummm... I attack. I roll a 5. I deal 16 damage, minus its 5 defense is... 11 damage. Ouch.
