I am looking for any information on my grandmother, Mary Ann Flack, born c1878 (daughter of William Flack) married Richard William Hayman in 1899 Plumstead, Kent. That's all I currently have.

Mary Ann was the daughter of William Flack and Emma Tribe who were married in Hove on 05 Nov 1877. William Flack was born in Cambridge in 1843, the son of William Flack and Rebecca Gray, and I have that line going all the way back to Lewis Flack born about 1520. I don't have any further information about Emma as yet.
If you look at the database you see I have Mary Ann as Mary Ann Tribe (as her aged in the 1891 was given as 14 and I found a birth entry for Mary Ann Tribe in 1876) but I think this may well be wrong as I have since found a birth entry for Mary Ann Flack in the Oct-Dec quarter of 1877 in the Steyning District. Her birth may well have been reregistered once her parents were married. I will order a copy of her birth certificate to check.
Talking about certificates - if you have a copy of the marriage certificate for Mary Ann Flack and Richard William Hayman I would be very grateful if you could let me have the full details for the database, or a scanned copy for my records if that is possible. I would also be grateful if you have any further information about your grandfather Richard Hayman that we could include.
Hope this helps your research!
Regards
Denise

Looking at the various censuses and the GRO BMD Indexes, it looks to me as if Richard William Hayman was born in 1879 in Shoreham, Kent, the son of George Hayman and Sarah Mantle who were married in 1860.
George, born 1837 in Halstead Kent, was the son of Thomas and Susan Hayman, and Sarah, born 1839 in Chelsfield Kent, was the daughter of Richard and Alice Mantle. The Hayman's and Mantle's were next door neighbours in Halstead in both the 1851 and 1861 censuses.
George and Sarah Hayman had 11 children that I have found:6 girls and 5 boys. Richard William Hayman seems to have been the second youngest of the family.
Does any of this ring any bells? It would be nice to know if I am on the right track!

Thanks Denise
The marriage certificate was source of my info. Will send scanned copy when I find it again (we have just moved house). I do not remember my grandmother as she died before I was born and my grandfather remarried. We do have photographs though of her and my grandfather.

The birth certificate that I have just received for Mary Ann Flack shows that she was born 13 November 1877 at 10 Monmouth Street, Hove, Sussex, the daughter of William Flack, Soldier Corporal 25th Regiment (foot), and Emily Flack formerly Tribe.
William and Emma were married on 5 November 1877 – now that's cutting it fine!
