|

Over 95% of the old FlackGenealogy searchable database is back on-line now. You will also find each family tree has its own number now too. So once you know your own tree number its easier to keep track off.
WE have also made a start transferring new trees here from the website www.jamesflack.com. Once all those trees are transferred across the genealogy section of that website will close.
The searchable database now contains over 55,000 people and we are adding every day.
NEW IN THE SEARCHABLE DATABASE SECTION.
You will now find a set of drop down menus (top right) on the pages in the searchable database section.
Under the Media drop-down you will see Photos. Click that link and it will show the photo's I have started adding (currently just to to Tree951DJ).
Under the same Media drop-down you will see Documents. Click that one and you will see I have added some base source documentation for 3 of the on-line trees.
The drop-down index takes you to a some great database functions. Easiest way to find out what they do - is click a few. Most are useful (some not so useful and I'll try and remove them when time permits).
Lets just hope it provides you with even more information and more leads than before. _________________ Jim Flack

|
|
The initial Database from the FlackGenealogy.com site has now been re-uploaded.
The next phase is to ensure all the additional data from the jamesflack.com database is transferred across and merged in. This will be an ongoing task as its VERY time consuming as we have to check both sets of equivalent trees against each other to make sure we don't unwittingly discard any information.
We just hope you all find the new database as useful as before. _________________ Jim Flack
