Hi, I am Denise Carr (nee Flack) and I am co-owner of this site. Jim does all the clever web side bits while I beaver away at the database side mostly.

I am currently doing a Flack One Name Study (registered with the Guild of One Name Studies or GoONS), which means I am interested in gathering genealogical information about all Flacks anywhere in the world and thereby assisting other people interested in tracing their Flack roots.

You will find the Flack part of my tree in the database as Tree029D. Rev Francis Walter Flack was my Great Grandfather who was born in Cambridge in 1859 who after his graduation from St Catherine's College, Cambridge went out to South Africa where he married into the Pote family. My Grandfather Edward Hugh StClair Flack married Marjory May Inggs with links back to Devizes in Wiltshire close to where I now live. My Flack line only goes back to William Flack, born about 1710, who married Elizabeth Quisick - trying to find out more William is what got me started on my Flack ONS in the first place  Very Happy

Sometime I will add the rest of my tree including my mother's side - honest!

Denise
