The only link in our database so far is >>>William Franklin Flack (tree 666J) which is obviously John Logan's brother. Its worth noting however that William actually named one of his own sons John Logan too.

William Franklin Flack married Ann Jane Williams.
James William Flack b.1873
John Logan Flack b.1876
Lillian Elizabeth Flack b.1878
William Lester Flack b.1873
Annie Winnifred Flack b.1896.
I haven't actually 'sourced' the above yet - but I'll do that ASAP for you too.

Its not going to be quick - but I'll look around the Ancestry census records and follow the rest of your information - and see what I can find on the web too. But the main thing is you have your questions posted here so other people might see it and be able to help too.

I'll re-post here after I've had a chance to look.

Regards

I'm also a descendant of James Madison Flack and William Franklin Flack. The work continues on finding information about their lives. I have no death date for James Madison Flack I have found bits and pieces to the year 1847/48. ?William Franklin Flack (my g-grand father) no information on him until 1873, he married Ann Jane Williams in Kane Co., Utah, then relocated to Cedar Hill, San Juan, New Mexico with his wife and two children in 1881. They had a family of 5; James William Flack, John Logan Flack, Lillian Elizabeth Flack, William (Oren) Lester Flack, and Annie Winifred Flack.

I've been in contact with Jim about this leg of the family, I'm working on a ged.com file to submit to him at this time. I was thrilled to be able to tie my ancestors into this Flack family line.

Genealogy is so exciting and so frustrating at times, if I can help with these lines in any way, please contact me. ?Thanks Colleen

Hi to Marlane and Colleen.

Please Note that this leg of the family has now been added to TREE618J (which is quite a large tree for the descendants of James Flack and Ann Baxter - starting in PA - its on the front page of the main website as the 'Featured' Family').
This leg of the family tree is down from James/Ann's youngest son Benjamin Flack (b. 9 Dec 1754).

Colleen has already kindly offered to send me a Gedcom soon to update some of the information here - but I have also managed to find some information which is online right now.

I've literally just added some headstone images for a few people in that leg - one example would be John Logan Flack (b 1834) and wife Emma Burchell shown at www.flackgenealogy.com/newtng/showmedia.php?mediaID=52 - you can follow the links on that page to to either the person themself of to the cemetery page where the other images are too.

I have to say that at the moment this tree changes daily as I add more and more info. But I definitely COULD do with some factual source information that links a few of the people up - especially as James Madison Flack seems such an elusive person to find.

So to ANYONE reading this - any information would be most gratefully received.
