Leeds United might have to start the season without a goalkeeper unless their transfer embargo is lifted. They are relying on the Football league to give them special dispensation to bolster their squad.

Each club has a share in the Football League but Leeds share was withheld when Ken Bates re-took control of the club, so Leeds are still unable to add to their squad.
