Grimsby have expressed an interest in signing Hull striker Michael Bridges.
Mariners boss Alan Buckley is keen to bring in the former Sunderland and Leeds striker to bolster his squad.
The League Two outfit are waiting to see if Hull will be willing to do a deal for Bridges.
"He is somebody we have asked about, and we are waiting for Hull to get back to us," Buckley told the club's official website.
"There's a lot of work going on in the background and we are waiting for players and clubs to get back to us."

Basically got to big for his boots - was great at Sunderland alongside Phillips and Quinn
But the move to Leeds buggered it up IMO _________________
