David Vaughan has expressed his excitement about joining Spanish side Real Sociedad.
The Wales international is linking up with Chris Coleman in the Spanish second division after Crewe Alexandra accepted a £300,000 offer.
Vaughan has spent his entire career at Crewe and he admits he is relishing the opportunity to play in a different country.
"I am really excited about the move," said the midfielder.
"It has all happened very quickly, I will have to start learning Spanish.

Good move for him but a strange one. Why Coleman has gone for him is a mystery _________________

Vaughan is out of contract in the summer so Crewe have cashed in while they still can. He is a player that has fallen away over the past two years so a new start might do him good. It is strange as he just become a father and is now off to foreign climes away from their families.
He is a decent lad who should be a good performer at Championship level but isn't physically big enough to play in the Prem.
At least he will understand his new manager and his international Boss lives just down the road at San sebastian |

I wish David nothing but good luck.
He has never been anything but a top professional, none of the big 'I am' just because he plays international football. |
