Gus Poyet has been asked to stay away from Leeds game against Millwall tomorrow so that the players can focus on the game. This comes after speculation that the manager taking over Spurs may appoint Gus as his assistant. Gus has said that he will talk to Tottenham if they approach him.

What an absolute mess. If Gus wants to go then he can go but what happens if Spurs don't approach him? How can he carry on at Leeds as Wiseys assistant? For me he has to go either way.

I've heard good things about him on the training ground. I'd be quite happy to see him at WHL Smile

It's a done deal im afraid Keely - it's also a shame for Leeds as things are looking great for you guys

I heard that Wise wants to tempt Marcel Desailly - but maybe a paper rumour as always - to be fair i don't think you would go far wrong with John Gregory as an assistant - or maybe O'Leary if he fancied it?
