Is a footballer, and plays for Horsham in the Ryman Premier. Last week he scored 2 goals for his club away at League 1's Swansea City in the FA Cup 2nd Round replay, and indeed got Sky's Man of the Match.

Not bad you may think, and indeed it's not bad, until you find out that the bloke was born deaf and dumb which makes his story that little bit more special.

To play at a decent level of Non-League football you need commitment and hunger. This bloke has it tenfold.

Lee Farrell............ some of those overpaid, overrated, pampered so called superstars of the game should take a look at themselves when they read about you in the papers.

It should be players like Lee Farrell who todays kids can look up to and be shown what can be achieved with sheer guts and determination.

I, for one salute him.

I wish Mick McCarthy would sign him too. The bloke IS good enough.  Vic

I noticed this guy as there was a small feature on him in the papers in the early rounds. He can't properly communicate with his team mates or manager as he uses sign language, but somehow this doesn't seem to hinder his game.
He really is a great example and he seems to have bundles of personality too.

Nice story that.

Looks like we've signed a young lad from Bromley (I think) who's been scoring for fun for them. Anybody know anything about him??
