Well, good luck to you. But i really can't see you going up as second. I agree with b6 and the playoff option. It's tight in the playoff race tho. Hope you don't blow it.

Not long had a call from my Mum, she is traveling up to Crewe tonight. Can see Forest routing Crewe, i.m going to say a 4-0 Forest win.

Did she stay up there Neil?. Crewe is a toilet, one of the worst towns i have stepped foot in.

Forest surprised me today, i to thought it would be a 3/4 nil win. Crewe played really well to be fair, not good from a Cheltenham fans view tho. Puts us in 20th.

Carlisle and Doncaster both won, 2 big points dropped by Forest.

Yeah stayed at the travel lodge. Forest were shocking according to Mum, Crewe embarrased them and should of won.

Plus point tho, Tyson is back...

This result was a really big minus for us. If Crewe outplayed us then I'm afraid this season is finished & Calderdud is out. I think it's no secret that if we don't go up he's out. Thing is, if we go up we'll probably got him in the Championship.

Your last 2 games were a 1-0 loss at home to Carlisle and 0-0 to crewe away

Two games you needed to have won - your next 6 matches are Southend away - Walsall home - Northampton away - Brighton home - Doncaster away and Carlisle away

I cant see you taking many points from them games at the moment

With a decent manager even from now I would say they have a good chance and the players to take them up - but that CC wont be sacked until the end of the season and by then the damage will have been done

Our owners record at selecting managers is terrible. Calderwood is just the latest in a line of failures from Joe Kinnear to Megson...his only success was by a fluke. When Megson went the two guys who carried on were Ian McParland & Frank Burrows. Under Megson we had an awful time trying to win matches. As soon as he went those two went on a run of 1 defeat in 17 matches & just missed out on the play offs  Shocked

Correct, they should of won them, Mum ain.t to happy with the way things are going at the moment. She backed Calderwood this season, but has now lost patience, put it this way i havn.t heard her swear in almost ten years until last week.

Southend is a pretty big game, Walsall is massive. Northampton is a sticky one, Brighton should be three easy points. Doncaster as massive also. Hard times ahead.

Quote:
Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood was "hurt" by his side's first-half display against Southend but delighted with the response after the break.

"We were tigers in the second half but tame in the first half," he told BBC Radio Nottingham after the 1-1 draw. "I was hurt by the first-half performance.

"We were ponderous, we knew there had to be a reaction and the difference in the second half was vast.

"Once we got going we played with a lot of passion and pride."

Is that the kind of thing Forest fans need to here?, if i was Calderwood i wouldn't be dishing out credit, i would be dishing out roastings. He needs to stand tall and drop a few players, sending out a few messages that places are not guranteed.

& replace them with who ??  He's the one that got rid of about 10 / 11 players at the end of last season but only brought in about 3. All of which were injured. Ok, it's about quality rather than quantity but only making a handful of signings after letting so many go is a bit naive for me.

1 Swansea 35 35 74
2 Doncaster 36 23 68

3 Carlisle 35 19 67
4 Nottm Forest 35 23 58
5 Walsall 36 12 55
6 Southend 36 8 55

10 games left - 9 points between Forest and Carlisle - 10 behind Doncaster

But Leeds are 5 points behind Forest - the PO's could be blown as well - that would spell disaster for Forest if they dropped out the PO's

True there are lack of numbers - CC should of bolstered especially when he knew his side was chasing promotion - no point come May missing out complaing about small numbers

Smile Took this from Mum's Blog.........

..................................................

I'll freely admit that I would have preferred our constantly moaning fans got behind the team throughout the season rather than the constant negative stuff at games, ie; a stray pass met with extreme abuse, our keeper jeered every time he gets near the ball. I could go on but i'll be here all night. I don't give a Sh** what anyone says, it isn't supporting your team.

There's one lad behind me that has mastered the face like a slapped arse look when Forest score. He is only happy when Forest are doing Sh**. Bet he cannot wait til Saturday.

It has always been my view Calderwood is here til the end of the season, so we may as well just get on with it.

So....it has all gone tits up. Lets get another no mark in and do it all again. Good old Mr Doughty to the rescue. The saviour. God bless him.
