Carlisle could look to Danny Carlton up front as Scott Dobie is ineligible and Danny Graham (hip) is a major doubt.
The Cumbrians are also still without midfielder Jeff Smith (ankle), striker Joe Garner (knee) and captain Paul Thirlwell (ankle).
Nottingham Forest are without midfielder Kris Commons (thigh), winger Arron Davies (hamstring) and goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos (Achilles).
James Perch is banned but Brett Ormerod is in contention after a facial injury.
Come on Forest!! _________________

Carlisle 0-2 Nottm Forest
Carlisle's record breaking run of 14 consecutive home wins was ended as they lost to Nottingham Forest.
It took Forest 75 minutes to break the deadlock and the opener came when Luke Chambers powered in a six-yard header from a Lewis McGugan free-kick.
Gareth McCleary, a half-time substitute for Nathan Tyson, grabbed a second for the visitors in added time.
He fired home from six yards after fellow substitute Emile Sinclair's shot had been blocked. |
Well done Forest, lets just hope they can build on this now. Well after the game against us of course. _________________

Loads of Carlisle fans are being bitter - saying Forest played the ugly way
And very ironic too - considering that Carlisle went to Forest and put eleven men behind the ball -eventually snatching a fortuitous 1-0 win courtesy of Paul Smith
By the sounds of it Forest defended reasonably well last night - there defence is comfortably the best in League One IMO - and made the most of the few attacking opportunities they had
I think that is considered in the business to be a classic away performance - much as Carlisle similarly did when they came and did a job on Forest at The City Ground
On the balance of play - both sides should have won their home encounters - but football is about scoring and there are infinitely more aspects simply than attacking play - take into account the performances of the defenders - midfielders and the goalkeeper too
On a side-note - it seems like young Garath McCleary came off the bench to good effect last night
At £20k from non-league Bromley - could he prove to be the snip that Calderwood suggested he would be? He looks to be a very lively and skilful winger
Damn you Steed - got me watching Forest lol _________________

Was very surprised that we beat Carlisle. Our record against the top 3 is very very poor. I think we should have the best defensive record by a country mile due to the fact Calderdud has his "don't lose at all costs" policy, therefore stiffling any creative players we might have. _________________

Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood was delighted to see his side's play-off push get back on track with a fine 2-0 win at high-flying Carlisle.
Forest overcame blustery conditions and a side lying second in the League One table to take all the points.
"It was an effort of all efforts just to stay in the game because the game was dictated by the weather and the pitch," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"It's a superb result which lifts everyone and gives us momentum."
Have to give him credit where its due - Colin you proved you was a 'Football Manager' just if you attacked through out the season!
Big mention for Gareth Mcleary....this guy as something special start him clueless caldersnore! _________________

I'm here !! Been on holiday for a while....no excuse I know
He's getting more starts these last few games. When he came to ushe was a bit light weight & not ready for L1 after playing for Bromley. He's shone since getting that extra sharpness & are expecting great things from him going forward _________________
