I don't know if anyone else really follows the Blue Square premier, but Halifax Town won tonight, taking them out of the relegation zone on goal difference alone. They have struggled in recent weeks after entering administration and then being docked ten points for doing so. This dropped them right in the thick of the relegation struggle with only 11 games to go. They have struggled to win a game since and lost embarrassingly to Kidderminster on Tuesday 1-6!!
I watched it on Setanta tonight and you could really see what the win meant to the fans and the team. Even though they aren't out of the relegation fight yet it clearly means a lot to this team to stay up. Real football fans who love their team.. good to see in the lower leagues. _________________
