Just dawned on me that Swansea, will be playing Cardiff, next season after their promotion to the Championship. What a cracking thought of that derby?. I don't think they have played each other for years so sets it up well. They hate each other big time, and there will be trouble for sure, thats a fact. MOH you looking forward to this?.

Yeah gonna be a riot lol - i can just see it now all over SSN lol
I'm not sure the last time they played each other either - sure it was some kind of a cup game or something with Cardiff winning?
I remember there being trouble when Swansea made League One through the PO's at Cardiff - and think they won the LDV the same year at Cardiff - remember reading a few Cardiff fans jumped a few Jacks

I'm sad to see Swansea go up, mainly because we always had a bit of banter with them. I remember back in 2003 they come onto our Website and organised a ruck, at Cheltenham train station. Alot of the Whaddon boys got a few troops and agreed to it. During the game we were sharing a few jokes and had a great laugh with each other. Wasn't any trouble at the game, or nasty chanting, apart from their songs about Cardiff  . I decided to go to this meet, i was young and didn't care at the time. I remember getting there and just seeing about 30 Cheltenham fans down the side of the station, no Swansea to be seen at all. About 10 minutes later we heard shouting from the front of the station only to run around and see then all running onto a train with the finger salutes and everything. On the net they claimed they had done the Town over and everybody at the meet lol.

Remember that day well lol - mind you Mike and Phil did get jumped by JD Peppers by Swansea fans - saying that it was like 12 on 2 at the time

Exactly, makes you laugh really as when we went away we took loads, they wasn't seen after the game. They could of out numbered us as well.
