Ok I have a 78 chevy blazer that i can not get it to stick in to 4wd lock it wont shift in to it and i dont know what to do and to all your ford guys out there i know its a chevy my everyday driver is a ford thats how i pull it there but back to the needing help if anyone could tell me what i can do i dont want to take it to the shop just yet i believe its the transfer case but i am not positive |

BRING IT BY THE TIRE SHOP AND WE WILL SEE IF WE CAN HELP OR LET US LOOK AT IT SAT I USE TO RACHET STRAP MINE IN LOW SIDE

I HAVE THAT PROBLEM TOO I AM GOINT O FIX MINE BY TAKING THE LOCK UN LOCK LINKAGE ROD OFF AND JUST PUT IT INTO 4 WHEEL PERMANENTLY I CAN STILL SELECT BETWEEN HIGH AND LOW LIKE THIS THAT IS HOW SOME 203 CASES CAME

My driveline is a 76 blazer!!!!!!!! I took the rods off, and zip tied the linkage into the low side. The transfer case is a 203, and they will pop out of gear. Bungee cord, ratchet strap, or whatever and they will stay in gear, unless you have an internal problem

To those of you that told me to ratchet strap it i did and it works i hope to see all of you tommorrow at garden city |
