If your gonna run alcohol, better be prepaired to change your oil alot. It will help keep your motor cool, and you can get by without a radiator. Gains in horsepower, will increase a little, but you will be happier sticking with racing fuel!!! _________________ 2007 POINTS CHAMPION 40" OUTLAW

If you decide to go with alcohol I recommend going with injection such as Rons Fuel Injection simply because its much easier to tune than a carb. Also, if you buy an injection unit they will set it up for your combo. Chris |

I'm running whatever Herschel had in the can that day I needed fuel. Mixed with just a touch of premium pump gas. So probably close to 104 octane. But usually whatever we can get locally sometimes 110 up to 114. Just depends on how cheap I feel like going that day. |

Better check the rules for the groups you want to run with before buying the injection set-up. Alot of places will allow alcohol but not the injection untill a rail class. BTW, tuning a carb on alcohol is no harder than a gas carb |
