· Quote

Hey guys need alittle input. I got 77 ford f150 w/ d44 front axle. at the last run I think I tore up a hub locker. Dont know for sure yet havent had time to check it. It started making a ratcheting noise on right front, wasnt loud enough and didnt jerk like it was a ring and pinion, so I think its a hub locker. My question is what should I go back with if I change them? are some better than others? Heard about an adaptor that goes in its place and keeps it locked all the time. Any Input would be great thanks.

the term can go both ways i guess. if they were " all the time " i would call it  "full time " but the ones i have you can unlock. I had a set of "full time" on a truck once and had nothing but problems with them. they would not engage all the time.

There is a set of Mile Marker hubs posted for sale on Stompers forum for a 78? F-150 for $55. It's in the for sale section.
