Building a trailer to haul my mud truck with. I have a camper frame to start with. Camper frame is 5'9" outside to outside, and I'm wanting to make the floor 7 1/2' wide. What metal should I use for floor supports to go across the camper frame? I want it strong enough to hold my mud truck, but at same time, I don't want it to be really heavy. I was originally planning on using 4" channel for the cross supports, but am thinking that will make the trailer really heavy. Any suggestions?

I am putting a 6-8" rail around the outside edge, if that makes a difference.
